Can't rate this place to be a good place to eat .... been along time since I have been there and thought a friend and I would try it out , waiting time to order wasn't good, waitress's didn't know what direction they were going or who need to place their order...food was cold when we finally got it ,Will not go back again...No nice rating from me and others that were there

Fried green tomatoes and fried okra are amazing! Chicken fried steaks are hand battered and very good. The hamburger steak and fried green beans are yummy, and the service is great!

Old town style cafe. We ate lunch had the catfish basket and chicken tender special. The handcut homemade fries I have not had since I quit making them a whole back. When those fried dipped into the gravy I was in heaven

After all this time we finally got to patronize Mabank cafe! And could not be more pleased! The food was absolutely fantastic, home cooked feel!! We were there 7:00 a.m. and enjoyed the best coffee (strong,) giant biscuits and the best fried eggs I've had on this Lake! The bacon was perfect! Crisp! The service was so friendly and quick! Amber was an absolute delight! She was happy and attentive! We will most definitely be revisiting! And I don't say this lightly, I'm known for giving blunt and honest reviews and I leave this one with a full stomach and a smile! Oh and the prices are great!

Wouldn't touch it again. Came in last Saturday with some guys from church, sat down and looked at the menu for 10 minutes before the waitress comes over and says the kitchen is closed because they're backed up but they have the buffet. Go over to the buffet and there's almost no eggs left, hard biscuits, no bacon, cold gravy. I get what seems edible and eat, get the bill at i paid $70 for 4 VERY below average breakfast buffets? Never again.
