Woodbine Inn and Restaurant

We just left after our third weekend staying here. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s absolutely beautiful inside, the staff are so wonderful and friendly, and the restaurant on site is delicious and very reasonably priced. Stay a while. You’ll love it.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time. Everything was just breathtaking. A true step back in time and elegance. Staff was very accommodating and made us feel at home. This is a must for any couple. We highly recommend. We will be returning in the near future. (The Medrano’s)

I stayed & got married here! The food is fresh and delicious! The service is extraordinary! They planned and catered my wedding! The quality of their service, food, and accommodatios are second to none! Their prices are also excellent! Their atmosphere is friendly and authentic. Their furniture is exquisite. I highly recommend this place whether you are planning a wedding, looking for a romantic getaway, or just having a meal. This is a 5 star experience!

What an amazing Inn built in 1904. It looks and feels like back then. The rooms are wonderful and roomy with lots of perks. The owners were very nice and helpful and we stayed for dinner in their restaurant as well and it was well worth it.

This was the second time we stayed at this gorgeous home. We found them during Hurricane Beryl since we still did not have power, and knew we had to return. This past weekend was our anniversary, and it was the perfect weekend getaway. The house is beautiful, the hospitality is welcoming and friendly-they remembered us from July-and their restaurant is delicious. We love this place and will definitely return many times.

This is an absolute gem! It is the cutest place and the friendliest staff. It is in a quiet area and a cute little town. I am so excited to come back and look around the little square. If you just crave the hustle and bustle, Buc-ees is just down the road. 🥰

We stayed at the Woodbine for the first time since the present owner purchased the place and we were pleasantly surprised! There has been some needed updates but the look and charm is still there. The lots of amenities and customer service is 5 star!

Words cannot describe how welcoming this place feels right from the moment we walked in. The warm and sincere greeting hospitality and atmosphere. The food is awesome the drinks are on point and the rooms are comfortable. Every detail about this place I could tell was well thought of. I will definitely say this is one of the nicest if not the nicest most enjoyable relaxing and Beautiful place I have had the privilege and pleasure of staying.

As a traveling man, I have to start with… SUPERB. This establishment, on every level, is outstanding. Did I come into it with hesitation? Yes. Within moments, all hesitation was removed. The greeting was warming and room presentation was wholesome and far beyond industry standards. This place has class and far better amenities than most try-hard, big name hotels. Going forward, this will be my “hotel” of preference, for this area. It’s not just a place to stay. The staff and ownership have done it right and understand what is desired by a consumer. Stay here and you will thank me later. I will be back, with my family in tow. BTW, the Muffuletta destroys any appetite, with satisfaction, and the Crispy Ravioli should be a house allotment, for all guests. The ravioli should be served as common as a roll or biscuit. I have never been presented with a “starter” dish like this, other than oysters. Remaining details will be left for your pleasure and discovery. I will gladly accept any reason to come back to Madisonville, Texas.

The Woodbine catered a Bridal Shower and they did an outstanding job. Everything was first class from the food, the service and atmosphere! Heather was a wonderful server! She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was buffet style and all delicious. We had deviled eggs, pasta salad, ham and cheese sliders, chicken salad in croissants, watermelon and blueberry bread pudding! If I ever need another event, I will be calling The Woodbine.

Elegant furnishings and decor. Charming atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. One of the most welcoming and comfortable places we have ever stayed. Will definitely return and we highly recommend The Woodbine to everyone.

**Edit- back again at this wonderful Inn amd restaurant. I cannot speak highly wnough about the staff and how they have gone out of their way to accommodate me during my stay. They make sure to get ut right, but especially the little things that matter most. The food in their restaurant is wonderful and you can taste the level quality ingredients they use. Their recipes are carefully crafted and the flavor profiles of their dishes compliment one another perfectly. 10/10 !!!!

This place is absolutely stunning. Couldn't ask for a better place be on a work trip. The owner is so kind and also accommodated my reservation being shifted due to work schedule. Clean, quiet, beautiful, and all around great experience. Considering also renting the venue for our daughters wedding. What a lovely accident it was for me to find this gem !!!! 💎
