Walkers cafe catered for my sororities formal and they were so patient and kind! They set up at the venue and served us food and it was AMAZING! They went out of their way and picked up our plates after we were done eating. Such kind staff working and would definitely eat here again! Thank yall so much <3!

Food was great as well as the service. Just a good home town feel to the place.

The food was mediocre. Very bland flavor for the mashed potatoes, chicken fried steak & Reuben sandwich. At lunch the patrons were mostly 55+ years of age so that likely speaks to the lack of seasoning of the dishes. The chicken fried steak looked huge but was more than 50% batter. The side salad that came with the CFS was pleasantly well done with several types of lettuce and tomato wedges. There was a 3% upcharge to use credit cards. We will not be returning for a 2nd visit.

We came for breakfast during our roadtrip. This place is amazing! The door is 100years old! Food is delicious, it is carefully made and they pay attention to details. Pancakes and buscuits were buttery soft and tasty. Pancakes are also huge, and yet not heavy. Bacon is crispy, potatoes are diced very small achieving a perfect fry. We loved this place, it being old adds so much character. I did not expect this when I first arrived, very pleasantly surprised!

We had breakfast: Chicken Fried Steak was hand dipped and a very good portion. Tender also. Migas is a delicious breakfast portion of chips scrambled eggs and cheese. Very good. We highly recommend this place for breakfast. Small town food is the best!

The quintessential small town diner. Probably the only reason you'll ever have to actually drive to Madisonville.

Delicious and they serve big portions. The thick bacon is full-size and fully cooked. Eggs were perfect on both meals. The pancakes covered the entire plate and had an additional flavor we could not figure out... lemon-ish(?) The biscuits were fabulous. The town is known for their mushrooms, and I had plenty in my 2 egg omelet!! YUMParking: Parking in town square

Disappointing. We walk in for lunch today and they took our drink order and gave us menus. Waitress came back to take order. I wanted a patty melt and onion rings. At that moment she decides to tell us there are no more hamburgers, no more fries, and no more onion rings. A sign on the door or letting us know when we walked in would have been nice.
