We came here a few months a go, right after the new owners bought the Ochoa's restaurant in Malakoff. We were very disappointed with the food & especially the margaritas. So bad, we sent them back. We returned today & were shocked by the difference a few months made. On Tuesdays they have small Margaritas for 2.25 that are very generous with size & tequila. They are superior to the ones we sent back. We shared a chicken fajita salad that was huge. It came with a side order of ranchero beans. Best salad we ever had. Service was outstanding!

We Really like their menu and it is more Mexican and not so much Tex-Mex. Service is great and always checking to see what we want. Very friendly! It is really a treat and decor is nice.
Great! Stop in on our way home and food and service was great!

We have eaten here 4 times now since it has changed over & just love the place. My husband usually has fajitas or carne asada and I usually get one of the shrimp dishes - the camaron plancha or Carmarones especiales and I LOVE them both. I like the variety of options on the menu. The woman & young man who keep the water , chips, and salsa filled are constantly at the table making sure you have what you need, and when they are not actually busy they are standing in the corner watching the tables. Our favorite waiters so far are Erik Z, Juan, & Gabriel. They make you feel like you are treasured guests, always checking on the table, making sure everything came out right and tastes good. And I believe Erik is a manager as well. He works very hard. They even helped me with my broken Spanish as I tried out a few words. I noticed that a lot of customers seem to know and like Gabriel and heard him make a comment about not going to another location as "I have my customers here ! " I understand why he has a following. I saw some other reviews that were less than flattering about the chips & salsa but that has not been our experience. I find the salsa a bit spicy actually. Not hot enough to hurt ya, but just so you know its there. Also thick, not runny. I also like the jalapeno slices with onions that come with the queso. We cant wait for our next trip back.Parking: large open parking lot with lots of spaces
