Another Applebees on my black list: short on staff and absolute lack of leadership

Take too long to take down a to go order... 7.3 minutes on hold. Nope,! Moved on. I cannot believe youre still in business here in Mansfield. Horrible service... even in restaurant. TERRIBLE. Get it together!

We wanted to try their 1 appetizer and 2 entrees for $25 deal and it was decent. We got the bbq boneless buffalo wings and it was pretty good. Very saucy. The entrees we got was the fettuccine with the chicken Parmesan and bread stick. The sauce was lacking flavor and seemed a bit bland, the pasta was cooked well, the piece of chicken was on the thick side, and the bread stick could’ve been taken out a little sooner, since it was too firm, not like the soft bread sticks at Olive Garden. The burger was decent. Nothing exciting about it, since I’ve had plenty of delicious burgers before. The fries were good too. Overall, a decent and pretty good meal for technically $27, with tax.

I’m in the area often for work and when I travel to the Mansfield/Midlothian area I make sure I swing by Applebees. Yeah I know that sounds crazy but this one is different. Food is good and the staff is polite and attentive to serving their customers. When I see Judith at the bar I make sure to sit there because she brings a great vibe and personality that you don’t normally see at other establishments. Always checks on you to see if you need another drink, food, or just that you are doing okay. You don’t see this type of service at chain restaurants very often but this one is different, especially with the bar service.

The bartender Judy it’s awesome at her job, her drinks are great, her service is great, my food experience was not good at all but she took care of it without hesitation, loved her, great bartender!

The hostess tried to take our order so it seems they have staff with good relationships which makes for a better environment! However, the prices were stupid expensive! The food was great but I feel like it was red lobster prices! So the 3 stars are for the employees and the minus 2 is f9r the franchise
