The chicken skins appetizer is a good amount of food, well seasoned, crispy, and crunchy. The fried fish is also amazing, with moist, meaty, and filling pieces. The platters come with a great amount of food for very affordable prices. Sides like the Cajun fries are crispy and great. Diners can choose from many flavors and seasonings, and the spicy house-made dipping sauce is craveable. The mac and cheese, however, can sometimes be only warm.
Service is generally very good and friendly, with staff that makes customers feel like family. The owner and staff are pleasant. On occasion, service can be slow, with food taking some time as it is made to order, and very rarely there may be an issue with order accuracy. Overall, the restaurant provides a great experience and comes highly recommended, becoming a frequent visit for many.
