I tried this spot a couple of years ago and decided to swing back by tonight—and wow, I forgot just how bomb the food really is! 🔥
My hubby ordered the Shrimp Po’ Boy (pictured in this review), and I went with the Fishwich, fried extra crispy. Confession: I didn’t even make it to the photo stage before taking a bite—the smell alone had me locked in, and the rest was history. 🤤 The fish was flavorful and crispy just the way I like it, though I do wish it had been drained a little more since it came out a bit greasy.
Now, my husband? He was living his best foodie life with that Po’ Boy. He literally said it was BOMB—and judging by the look on his face, he meant it! I’ll admit I was a little jealous, because I wanted a Po’ Boy too, but shrimp is the only option right now and I don’t eat shrimp. Hopefully, they’ll expand the menu to include more choices (a fish or chicken Po’ Boy would be a game-changer 👀).
The only downside? Parking. It’s super limited, and I had to get a little creative with where I left my car just to grab our order. 😅 But honestly, greasy fish and tight parking aside, this place is still 100% worth a try. The food delivers, and I’ll definitely be back!

This place has friendly staff, The waitress went above and beyond to feed all 6 of us. She was attentive and easy going for special requests. The whole team put together a 6 top table in the back room. Seeing as we had a birthday 🎂 to celebrate, I would see this as a win/win!
I give 3 stars because the food is not my favorite for seafood.

Micah was our server and took really good care of our group today. Everything from his entree recommendations to desserts and east coast raw oysters were spot on. We were all very satisfied with the quality of the food, taste, vibe of the environment, and well mannered customer service.
Parking: The Atlantic Salmon and east coast oysters are very tasty
I love this place, and it has become my go-to. The service is always friendly and great, I love the atmosphere...a lot of locals come here, and it's a good mix of friendly people. Now, to the food....which I am very happy to report is amazing! You really can't go wrong here. If you like salads, I would suggest the salmon and power greens salad. The seafood gumbo is always delicious, and their menu, along with their specialty menu, is very diverse and extensive. Even their burgers are amazing. If it's available, order the Louisiana pot roast. Best pot roast, EVER! Forget slap your Momma good, it's punch your Momma square in the mouth good! I wish I had more hands....to give Fish City Grill 4 thumbs up ? ???
The food was fabulous as always. Micah was our server and was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great suggestions on what to order. He has a great personality, lots of fun. We will definitely have him as our server again.
