Love this place usually, but went there the other week and it was randomly closed..and now has b3en closed since...I dont see anything about it being closed online...facebook..IG...anything...try calling but nothing....so im a little frustrated because I love this place and want to go, but they're closed???
Sign on door temporarily closed due to scheduled maintenance. Not sure how long they have been closed or when they will open. I hope to get the chance to try them and edit review.
It's just not the same after the expansion. The food is just not the same and switching the potatoes for tater tots is just a cheap move. I preferred waiting 30 minutes to get a seat and have good food and the best of the 70's and 80's playing in the background than what they have going on now.. what a shame

Food is excellent I don’t have a complain about it. My only thing is that they never ever respond phone for pick up. I go in person and they say they didn’t hear it but it’s every time so I doubt they are keeping up with calls. I check website and it says not taking orders. I love Hearth cafe, I just wish they offered reliable way to do pick up orders.
We loved this breakfast spot! Great food with good portion sizes, excellent service, and a nice atmosphere. This is the best breakfast restaurant we’ve been to in Mansfield! Highly recommend!

Food was amazing and the service was great! Coffee is also very good. I tried the huevos rancheros with chorizo and they were delicious!

Great place for any occasion. Definitely for my wife’s birthday and Mother’s Day. Great conversation when we met the owner.
I had a terrible experience here asked politely to move seats and the owner was incredibly rude and honestly hostile. Experience felt discriminating, from what I noticed the majority is Caucasian people, even though he’s Hispanic himself which is very pathetic. Definitely not coming back and extremely expensive for some half done and unsalted eggs. When it comes to true success it might last for a while but with no humility or respect for others that’s obviously not going to last. It’s common decency and part of costumer service and politeness.

We were frequent patrons of The Hearth prior to remodeling. The wait staff isn't the same as prior. Attention to detail and promptness are gone.

I really hate to share this review. I’ve dined in an ordered pick up from here numerous of times. Today I tried to place a pick up order as I’ve always done over the phone. I was spoken to very rudely by one of the male employees there. From the moment he answered the phone, in which he told me I could not place an order over the phone and would have to do it online, which is fine. I told him I was trying to do that and was having issues doing it and could I place the order over the phone. His reply was “No”. I was very confused because I’ve placed orders over the phone before and had just placed one the previous week. I was going to ask if something changed because I just ordered over the phone previously, but before I could say anything else he hung up in my face. The food is great is and I’ve always had a pleasant experience here but I’m just really disappointed in the attitude of the employee and how I was treated. Please understand having good food is just as good as having great customer service. Being kind really goes a long way.

We have been regular customers for almost 6 years since we moved to this area. Prior to the renovation, Hearth Cafe was such a quaint little place with quality food and stellar service. This weekend is the first time we visited since the reno. First and foremost, whoever was the cook prior to the reno needs to be brought back! The food has no flavor and the quality is nonexistent anymore. I paid 5.00 for a side of the thinnest, flavorless bacon I've ever had. The prices have gone up and now everything that used to come with a meal is an upcharge. The coffee used to be perfection bit this time it was watered down. The potatoes were just potatoes. No season, no onions, nothing! The omelet was flavorless. The bill was higher than it had ever been for the two of us at over 60.00. Which I would not have minded if the quality pre reno was still there. Unfortunately, we won't return.
I'm not mad, just disappointed and sad for the owners.

First time march 29, 25. We got the French toast and omelet, and both were really good.

Such a great local spot! Yummy food and coffee. I love having this small business in our community!!
I'd like to preface this by saying the staff is wonderful and always kind!
I used to come here very frequently for a couple years. And every time it was amazing with great service and top tier food. I'd tell everyone to check it out.
After they renovated I decided to get them again. And it has just went significantly down hill. I always get truffle fries (because before they were THE most amazing truffle fries!) And this time they definitely cut corners to save money, the quality of the fries was horrible, the texture was floppy, and they still charge so much extra for them.
I also got the tacos, which used to be so flavorful and juicy, and they were so bland it's not even funny. My bf got chicken and waffles and the serving size was like a kids plate.
Don't waste your money, find another local brunch place.
