This place has exceptional service. We had 3 different people taking care of our drinks, food, etc, and so friendly too. They even opened the patio on a surprisingly warm spring day. I will be back, definitely, the food and bean dip is amazing too.

This place was dead on a Tuesday night and I don't know why. The food was great, chips and salsa was excellent, the drinks were great and the vibe was good even though there was only one person other than my wife and I there. Jefe' and Nemo, our bartender and waiter were very good. Although we were two of only 3 there. I will definitely be back here on a weeknight. Jefe' said they are usually pretty packed on weekends. This could be a pretty good hangout.

I must admit, our visit was a bit surprising. When we first walked in, the place was empty for a Sunday evening at 6 pm. We received the obligatory chips and salsa and ordered our entrees. The salsa was said to have been made in-house and was tasted fresh. Now, the entrees were on point! The cabrito was fantastic! When I asked for the server's recommendation, he suggested this but qualified the feedback with the fact that was one of their more expensive menu items. He also added that the head of the kitchen staff has this as a favorite item to prepare. I was not disappointed. The presentation was great, the goat was prepared well, I have nothing bad to say about it. In the interest of full disclosure, there was an issue with the sound system. The music alternated between super soft and moderate volume for the duration of our visit. I also found it a little odd, as well, that our server had to sign into another server's system access because he was new (how it was explained). Apparently, when being trained, the new servers use the lead server's login information (so the lead appears on the bill). This sounds a bit sus to me. Competition for tips and wages is stiff enough, without having to account for more than one person on system access. That being said, for having only worked three days, our server did a great job. Went here because it was a place that we enjoyed before, only to realize they are under new membership. However, the waiter was attentive and welcoming. It may have helped that the bartender resembles one of my uncles but it was cool, fun. The food was good. I ordered the taco being that this was my first time there and they didn't disappoint. My wife ordered the seafood soup and it was full of shrimp. More than she expected. We'll be back.

Glad we found Mar-Cosina! Last Saturday they served my group of 22 ladies, who ordered off the menu and wanted separate checks, with efficiency. The food was all good, the service excellent and their private room allowed us to carry on as any large group likes to do. Many thanks to the wait staff and cook for providing us a great experience!

My friend and I enjoyed a tasty lunch at MarCocina’s today. Chicken and beef enchiladas and crispy ground beef tacos were all great. Go support this small business. Everything was very clean and you could tell this owner cares about his restaurant.

Me and my daughter went here for dinner last night and ordered our food to go. I got chicken fluata’s and she got the chicken nachos. When the nachos came out my daughter didn’t like the way the nachos came out so I politely asked the man to take them back, but he got frustrated and was trying explain this is how they are.Then with my fluata’s they were very dry and the outside was too soft. And when I asked to get the Nachos taken off my order he got mad and acted like he didn’t know how. The Guacamole was old already turning brown. The nachos were decent, but the fluata’s were just nasty. Also on the menu the nachos were 10.95 but we got charged 12.95. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!
My friend and I stopped here tonight on our way to another Mexican restaurant. I'm so glad we did. The drinks, food, and service was terrific. Very friendly and comfortable local restaurant!
