I came here during late lunch around 2p. No one was in so I was nervous the food wouldn't be tasty. It was delish! I ordered the dry rub wings and they were excellent! Staff was friendly, wasn't offered a refill until I was headed out but that's ok. My only complaint is their restrooms reeked. Not sure if it's a plumbing issue with the building but it was also very hot in the rr facility. Other than that the wings were 10/10 and I am very picky.

First things first, the comments about the waitress being rude are the most Karen stuff ever. Though she wasn't the most talkative person she was never rude. In fact after talking a bit she was very nice. Now on to the food. The gumbo is some finest I have ever eaten. We ate in a group and tried a huge selection of items on the menu. We all shared and there wasn't a bad item on the table. The crawfish etouffee was definitely another star. We definitely wont miss stopping in every time we are through this part of the world.

we found Nappy's two weeks ago and not only went back twice in ten days but told all our friends that it was the best Cajun food out side of New Orlean. Many of our friends have tried it and agree. Now to last night, we took three friends to dinner. We had one of the worst dinning experiences we have ever had. We would not classify the service as service, wait staff was unattentive, no setups on the table and after we asked we still had to get our own. Five at our table and food was brought out at different times took 15 minutes to get all served. Food was subpar gumbo was watery and just warm, fish was not fully cooked, shrimp tasted like it had been recooked. If we had not been here before we would never come back, but we will give them one more try.

I got the chicken and sausage gumbo, miniature crab cakes, and the shrimp creole. Everything was very well seasoned. Only thing is I like my rice to be covered with the gravy, rue, sauce. When I asked they bought me more sauce and had a few extra shrimp in it. Won major points with me. Good variety of drinks and spirits if you want it. Good restaurant so go check them out.

The food was decent! My shrimp, sausage, and grits dish was full of flavor. My husband got the catfish platter, and it tasted good, although we both wish the catfish was fried a bit harder. He got okra instead of fries, and we both liked the okra. The establishment was clean. And the service was good!

1st timer. They didn't disappoint. Everything was fresh and hot. Our server Moesha was great. Atmosphere is good.

Authentic Louisiana dishes. If you need a dose of good Creole and Cajun flavors, you won't be disappointed. We started with crawfish spinach and artichoke, served with french bread baggets. That was a definite winner. I had a bowl of chicken and andouille sausage, and it was good. It had the right roux flavor and thickness. The serving size was perfectly generous for a small. I tried the charbroiled oysters, and it was ok. I am personally not a fan of hot sauce on mine, which it comes already added. My main dish was the Nappy's Pasta... and I must say it was even better the next day, as I was not able to finish it at the restaurant. I have been a few times and tried several of their dishes. Good place for a home cooked meal... as I was born and raised in New Orleans and my family are from Opelousas.

I came to this place for a birthday party, which had about 30 people in our group. I will try to shorten the events as this was an experience for me. There are 5 people working here:2 cooks 3 waitresses, I suppose. We had a long table and a waitress to each side of the table. The cocktails took forever to arrive. The food did not come out together, so we did not eat as a whole. Fried food came out first, then seafood boils, and appetizers came out here and there. The food took about 45 mins to come out. The kicker to all of this was that a person in our group got a salad, and it came out last. When we told 1 of the cooks about this, there was nothing but excuses, no accountability. When the person explained this saw, they did not care and walked away. The employee grabbed their arm. Which started a fiasco of arguments and almost a fight with the other employees jumping to fight as well bc they are all family working there. To avoid further commotion, the group decided to leave in which the police were called. This place knows nothing of customer service. One of the employees even went so far as to go to the parking lot to record the vehicles, and they even called another person to come help fight. The group paid for the meals, but we shouldn't have. One of the group members also saw that one of the employees posted on social media about this incident, which is very unprofessional. I hope they last.

Not pictured: Alfredo Pasta, shrimp & grits, dirty rice and seafood platter. I'm so glad we opted to try this place out. The taste of cajun food always supersedes service for us. We just love food so much. We were surprised to be greeted by a nice lady. There was a band playing which was a nice vibe. Our waitress was super sweet. The food was amazing. Definitely hit up this spot for something delicious. If ever we have a game in Mansfield, we will be back.

This place is a hidden gem. Food is authentic and extremely fresh. Service was a bit slow, however it could have been due to the size of our party. We went on a Wednesday night to celebrate a milestone birthday so we had 9 in our party. Food came out separately instead of together. Not a big deal to my party, but some could find that not ideal. We will definitely be back because the food was exceptional!

We just touched down from Cali right off the plane, and I am sadly disappointed in the reviews I read because baby let me tell you, service was amazing by Ms. Chelsea. She walked us through on the most popular meals to order. She was super friendly and very warm. And y'all, the food was bussin' and some of us are picky eaters. Baby girl said it was a 10. So y'all come down and judge for y'all selves. We will be back!

Wasn't greeted when I walked in. The lady at the counter was staring directly at me. I headed to the counter and asked what she would recommend she said pasta and seemed to have an attitude the whole 3-4mins I was there. There was no customers and it's Fat Tuesday!!! I wondered why this place was empty, now I know. Very rude and unprofessional customer service. I don't travel to this area often, but if the service was good Nappy's would've received at least $100 or more. As i stated it's Fat Tuesday and I wanted to try a # of items. I DON'T RECOMMEND NAPPY'S!! Save your money and go somewhere else. They're hiring for multiple positions, but after my experience I get why they are short handed. People are more selective with the jobs they apply for and pay attention to the behaviors of staff members they encounter.

Louisiana is now in your neighborhood...I placed a to-go order. I would definitely recommend trying Nappy's if you like seasoned food . See my review below.PROS1) This food is seasoned! The different flavor profiles explode in your mouth.2) Huge portions, each dish could feed two individuals.3) $$ You get your money's worth.4) The location is a nice size, plenty of room for large parties. It was very clean and organized.5) Very extensive food menu.6) Nice drinks menu and they have happy hour.7) You can see the chef preparing your to-go order.CONS1) Staff taking the order is all business, lol . She was not rude but she wasn't friendly either. She was just all business so this maybe shouldn't count as a con.2) They need better to-go containers. One sharp turn and all of my food would have ended up on the floor.3) Bread pudding was less than desirable, I cannot recommend it.3) The biggest CON was I did not see one dish on the menu that had crawfish!!!

I really wanted to like this place, and I mean, really. I was in Mansfield, and decided to stop by. They had just opened (twenty minutes), and were still setting things up. Now, I read in the previous reviews there were comments about the bad attitude of the waitress/hostess. After visiting, I can understand those comments. The hostess doesn't have a welcoming attitude, and she carries herself that way through the whole visit. At least, through my short visit of placing the order and picking it up. Because it was lunch, I didn't feel like paying an absorbent amount of money for something I've never had before. So, I tried the: Po' Boy Sandwich: I will tell you something, it was horrible. The shrimp tasted as if they were cooked, frozen, then cooked again (fried). The batter was falling off, and they were rubbery. The breading was very bland, and the shrimp had no taste. The red sauce, I felt it was pointless to have on there, it did nothing to help with the overall taste. I don't think I will visit again, I'm not willing to potentially waste more money on subpar food.

Date night ? for me and my wife. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place. I don't normally speak with the chef, but I had to let him know how much we loved the food.
