Was very disappointed that they were out of the half chickens, being the special of the month. I can see them running out before closing time, unfortunately, this was during dinner time. I normally don’t write bad reviews UNLESS THE EXPERIENCE LEFT A BAD TASTE, we normally just don’t go back to the place. The atmosphere was ok, couldn’t taste the food, and therefore it’ll stay as a negative, the reason for the bad review is aa follows: there was no sense of urgency, or apologetic attitude. The fact that nothing else was offered as replacement (IM NOT TALKING FOR FREE) to try and have us stay leads me to think this happens often. I can see why there were maybe 3 tables occupied during dinner rush. GOOD BBQ JOINTS are hard to come by, and this one disappointed.

Ordered the double barrel potato. It was extremely dry...the cheese was on one end, no butter on it and very little sour cream. The spicy sauce was good but not enough. I also asked for sides of pickles, onions and jalapenos which I did not receive. (I ordered through Door dash) I have had the double barrel potato before and it was delicious but not this time Disappointing! 😔

I ordered 2 chopped beef sandwiches and 2 baked potatoes to go on door dash. The sandwiches were great but the baked potatoes were all cheese. We couldn’t even pick the cheese out cuz it had melted in I guess. It was so gross. We love cheese on ours but this seemed to be overloaded. We’ve had these many times before with no problem but WOW!!!! Also they left out our 2 slices of Texas toast AGAIN. Seems to be a janitor maybe the driver eats it I don’t know cuz the bag wasn’t sealed. I contacted DoorDash over the 2 $10 potatoes and the missing toast and iagain they tell me SORRY!

Wife stopped and got Big Catch 6 fish plate. I'm saying right now y'all ought to be ashamed of yourself for selling that to anyone. Pretty small pieces of fish for the price. Grease needed to be changed. Beans were passable.. but I spit the coleslaw back out on my plate.. couldn't swallow it. Been a while since we ate from there.. used to be good. Don't plan on us going back.
