I was very skeptical about ordering after reading the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. Let me start off by mentioning I ordered through a 3rd party app, DoorDash The Catch received my order and understood the assignment! I ordered 3lbs of crawfish extra saucy and spicy The size of the crawfish were the biggest I've seen this season. The portions were generous. The flavor was jam-packed with spices and other Cajun seasonings. The Cajun seasoning is a little on the saltier side but still still delicious. The flavor ordered was "too hot to handle". Crawfish was packed in styrofoam containers, not the safest or sturdiest, but to-go crawfish orders aren't typical so I understand. Hot sauce, butter and more Cajun seasoning were provided as extras which is a nice plus. Overall, I recommend The Catch and will be ordering again.

Bad service! Ordered one of the more expensive meals that included fish, they forgot the fish. Went to the counter, they said they would bring it to us. Waited and waited, meal eaten, no fish. Went back to counter, lady says you have been here nearly an hour and you just are now saying something? Rude! No this was the 2nd time asking, yall never brought it to me. Then she says she will get it ordered. Nope, too late, group have all eaten their meals, it's time to go. She did not say sorry for the inconvienance or anything. We are no longer regular customers! Sad! You get one star. The food is good, if you get all of it.

This is not a fast seafood restaurant. But it does have best quality of food prepared and I didn't see a single heat lamp in use anywhere (yes I did look). Average wait time is about 15 minutes.

Service was friendly and quick. Seafood gumbo really good. Fried gator was good also. Expected chewy but tender and moist. Fried okra good. Boudin balls needed seasoning. Overall, good experience.

I ordered online and used Doordarshan. Got a call from the driver saying he can't find my apartment, he had an out of state cell number and sounded like he was from another country, so I told him to look for me and went out my breezeway and waved. He flew up and handed my my order. I told him this doesn't look right, he says " That's all they gave me " . It didn't contain anything except 3 catfish fillers and a few hushpuppies. The fish was soggy and the hushpuppies were golden on the outside but raw uncooked on the inside. The driver gave me the store number. I called and got a manager. She was incredibly rude. No apology, just" you get what you get, maybe the driver kept it" I kinda doubt he ate it, but she couldn't have cared less. I'm a senior citizen who is handicapped, I have to order online for everything. Over 30.00 for 3 pieces of fish and a few uncooked hushpuppies is sad. I won't ever order from them again.

The crawfish seem flash frozen.. also very tiny. The front lady is telling the cook to start closing up the kitchen when it's 8:24pm on a Monday. Blonde girl loudly rolling a trash can around & making it known to get out. Weird vibes

Pros: Fried green tomatoes were nicely breaded, nicely salted and nicely cooked to perfection. Beignets were tasty. Whitefish was alright. Cons: Boudin. Oh man. It was gummy and tasted like Thanksgiving stuffing that was still raw.

Worst seafood ever. I think we are paying for the free alcohol by the food portion to price. Way over priced for what you get. Fish City beats this place hands down. Nasty restaurant will never be back.
purchased the catfish and shrimp combo with fried and an order of boudon balls. the boudon balls was the only food that was at least semi hot. This is my 2nd time ordering to go and food is not hot. I will not be back.

This was our first visit to this location. I was very disappointed in the gumbo. It was not hot and lacked taste. The catfish filets were hot and ample size. Oysters were just right. The fried green tomatoes were cooked well just lacking any seasoning in the batter. Out of Key Lime Pie.The Tyler location definitely has me spoiled.

I have ordered from the Catch multiple times and this is the WORST food packaging. I ordered the Admirals platter, which is very pricey, and my food was delivered in 2 styrofoam boxes and soggy fried food. In the past I have recommended The Catch, especially during the pandemic, because of the great food and packaging of the food in aluminum bins. All items were soggy and not the quantity of food I’ve received in the past. Also, my sides were not delivered. I called the restaurant and was told complaints have to be made to Doordash. It’s a shame that a restaurant that was so good shifts the blame on a great delivery company and shows no customer service. I will NOT order again to the restaurant. I recommend they are taken off all delivery applications. Obviously, me calling the restaurant did not move to customer service being show especially when I try to support restaurant.
