Always great food and a phenomenal experience! I really appreciate the staff working through issues and removing obstacles to ensure the best opportunity for customer service at the highest levels.
Great atmosphere. Went for brunch. Food was good aside from the waffles. Stay away from the waffles..not edible
Vault is one of our favorite places in DFW and their brunch was absolutely perfect for our group of 12. Highly recommend, and the live music was so much extra greatness! Food was spectacular as always!
This waste the first time coming here. I had a very pleasant evening in the cigar lounge. I will definitely be coming back.

The service and atmosphere were really nice here! The staff was friendly, the vibe was great, and the valet parking was a really nice touch. The food was just okay to my friends and I, not bad, just not as good as we hoped. Overall, I enjoyed the experience because the service, vibe, and valet made the visit worth it.

Our new favorite DFW restaurant. The table side presentation of the Tomahawk is something everyone should try at least once. The atmosphere is refined with a casual comfort. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and the complimentary desert made us feel pretty special. 5 Stars from me in all categories!

Beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance and live pianist and singer which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately service was subpar. Server was nice but lacked proper training. We waited a long time for our wine at dinner. It arrived when we were almost done with our steak dinner. When we asked why it took so long she said she had to polish wine glasses and this was around 7:30pm. She had no knowledge of what kind of oysters was being offered and while she tried, it was obvious she lacked proper training. Despite that we'd recommend this beautiful restaurant. Steak was slightly salty but the brussel sprouts and risotto was delicious. Crème Brûlée and cheesecake was excelllent.
The food was Very Good even the bread. We had the snapper and the salmon with Brussel sprouts. Drinks and even the birthday cake was good. 10/10 recommend.
My husband and I have been here 4 times in the last two months and although it’s one of our favorite places we may have to stop coming. The food is amazing, however the service is lacking. Most high end restaurants give you great service with over priced food, this establishment gives you bad service with great food. Spending $200 on dinner and you can’t even get a refill on a Dr. Pepper is crazy. We’ve had 1 good server out of the four visits. Each time we order our food the servers never came around to re-fill our drinks until we were DONE eating this happened on 3 visits. Who wants to eat a superb meal with a dry mouth. Then we are expected to pay a 20% tip on a $200 bill for bad service. Please do better! It sucks because the owner seems really nice and the atmosphere is nice but the service needs to be better. We don’t have $800 to waste in this economy.

Our waiter was very nice, but we rarely saw him. We would ask for a refill or more bread 3 to 4 times before we actually received it. We had to wait almost an hour for our check. Our steaks were not cooked the way we had asked them to be cooked. The restaurant is very beautiful and the drinks were really good though. I would really look into possible more training for staff.

Lamb chops were excellent indeed…medium rare. Great suggestion from our server, Lily!New beef wellington bites were flaky and delicious!! Leave room for the Bananas foster flambé, prepared table side by Brian, to finish off the evening!

Having read a few of these reviews, let me say this...
This place is absolutely amazing!
From the food, to the service, to the staff, to the atmosphere, this place is unbeatable!
If you don't like this food, the problem is in your mouth, not the kitchen!!
There is nothing I don't like!
(Except maybe the price, cause I'm cheap.)
Do yourself a favor...go, eat/drink, have a ball, maybe even get a locker!!
Try all the apps!
But pay ZERO attention to the nay-sayers...or don't go, makes my reservations easier!!

Long Overdue Review from 10/11/25
I came to Vault Seafood & Steakhouse on 10/11/25 to celebrate my husband’s birthday. This was my 3rd visit and his first, and overall we had a decent night with some memorable dishes, but also a few disappointments, especially considering we spent close to $300.
We were greeted warmly and seated in a booth, which was a nice gesture for a birthday dinner. Our waitress, Kaylee, was polite throughout the evening.
We ordered mocktails, lobster mac and cheese, lamb lollipops, elk chops, snapper, oysters, and white chocolate bread pudding. The mocktails were good and personalized based on our flavor preferences, but at $14 each I felt the price was a bit steep for non-alcoholic drinks.
I asked about the oysters, and while Kaylee confirmed they were raw, she wasn’t sure which region on the East Coast they were from. We ordered them anyway, they tasted good, but were extremely tiny and didn’t come with the small oyster fork that usually helps separate the meat from the shell.
The lobster mac and cheese was tasty, but I was disappointed that there was barely any lobster compared to the first time I tried it two years ago. I had been raving about that dish since my first visit, so it didn’t live up to my expectations this time.
The BEST dish of the night was the lamb lollipops, incredibly flavorful and tender. I usually think lamb lollipops are overhyped, but these were delicious and the highlight of our meal.
Our entrées were good overall, but the snapper came with very little sauce, even though the waitress raved about it beforehand.
For dessert, we ordered the bread pudding specifically to try the bacon ice cream. When it arrived, the bread pudding was served cold and it came with regular vanilla ice cream instead. After pointing it out, the waitress brought the bacon ice cream, but mentioned they had scooped the last of it. It did not taste fresh, and we were still charged for it.
Another disappointment was that the dessert did not come with the “happy birthday” decorative platter that I received on my previous visit. That small detail made my birthday feel special last time, and I was hoping my husband would get the same experience.
While we had some good moments, especially the lamb lollipops and overall service , the night didn’t feel as special as it could have for a birthday celebration. I tipped 15%, but would’ve gladly given 20% if more attention had been given to the details that make milestone dinners memorable.
This is a long overdue review, but I wanted to share my honest experience. I hope some improvements can be made, because Vault has the potential to deliver consistently great experiences like my earlier visits.

The ambience, the customer service/staff, the location, the food- EVERYTHING was superb. Our waiter, Jaden, accommodated us to the max. My daughter's 35th birthday celebration was truly amazing. She'll never forget it. Also, you can capture some great pics here. The restaurant's decor is fascinating. I'd definitely recommend Vault Seafood and Steakhouse.
