Love the bbq and the atmosphere!

The food is delicious. At first you think you can't trust a BBQ place with a gas station, but trust me, give it a shot. Had the nachos and they have been the best I've had. Forget Killens nachos. The chips stay crunchy and serves is purpose of scooping the food. At other places, you have to use a fork to eat the soggy chips.

My family and I love this place the food is good the lines are sometimes long but is always worth the wait, our favorite is the three meat platters we grabbed two of those and we all share

We drove half an hour to try their BBQ, it did not disappoint! I loved their brisket but pork and sausage were also so good. Sides were all top notch, to add it all it cam with a huge portion. Reading other reviews, it seems like a better idea to dine in than take out.

I ordered, three times, a pound of ribs; twice I spoke my order to a young lady; third time, a male. I watched them prepare order after order skipping me every time. Finally, I told the gentleman behind me that maybe they waiting to bring my order to the table. I went to pay because his large order was complete. At the register I paid. They brought me a to-go bag. That’s one thing I won’t do at Big Horn and that’s a to-go order. They don’t give you the best of what they have because you’re not eating it there where you can send it back. The manager came to do a void and I got no apology, no nothing. She didn’t even look at me. That’s no Southern Hospitality.

I’ve been coming to this location for the past five years and today I experienced customer service that was horrible. The line was long with one cashier and our food was just sitting there getting cold, when this was brought to the managers attention she had an attitude.When she did open a second line she assisted the people that were behind us as we’re standing right there in front of her. When we brought it to her attention she just ignored us so it this point we Didn’t purchase the food. Left the restaurant and went to the one in Pearland where there’s friendly faces and professional customer service. Lately this location in Manvel doesn’t have the quality of people they did in previous years.

This was the worst experience. Liliana is a terrible manager and my family will never go to this store again. We ordered 3 potatoes and only received 2. Once we got home and realized we drove back to the store only to be lied to and accused of not having a receipt. She acted like she could not find the transaction (which made me feel like they might be scamming if your POS system can’t find an order that was placed 20 mins earlier).
After requesting a rib plate instead of a potato (because they were out of brisket at like 7pm) Liliana states they did not have any brisket left and said we HAVE TO eat chicken or turkey because it’s company policy.
Once she requested the manager number Liliana refused to give her the information and issued a refund which then left my family without a meal to eat. She was argumentative, aggressive and very uncooperative throughout this entire experience. Thanks to the pearland manager we were able to speak with customer service and Mary Jo was able to properly handle the situation.
Big horn needs to do something about that manager because she is the worse and we will never go back to that store. I cannot stand managers who do not understand how to handle customer escalations. The lady was terrible and clearly judging people.

Not sure how hot your food will be if you dine in, but to go orders…. I checked the food when I got in my car, fries, burger and chopped beef were barely warm. The fries were nothing special. Also not sure how much meat is supposed to be on a chopped beef sandwich but we didn’t even get 3.5 ounces. I wasn’t aware I was supposed to get my own sauce. Good thing I had some when I got home. I would have rather driven to Webster for In&Out. Best thing here was the ice for the sodas.

Did someone spit with my food? The chicken was cold, slimy, and had such a strange taste I couldn’t even tell if it was seasoned. It was so unappetizing I had to throw out the entire meal, including the yams and baked beans.
We’re spending real money on Uber Eats orders—please handle our food with the same care and respect you’d want for your own.
