The food was okay. I ordered the brisket; the flavor was good, but the meat was a bit tough and gristly, not melt-in-your-mouth like brisket should be. Their Mac and cheese just tastes and feels like Velveeta. The Jalepeño cheese bread is good, especially when it's toasted and buttered. I really like their crinkle cut French fries. They are very well seasoned. Additionally, Big Horn's options for people with a dairy allergy are few, which I can understand if that's not their priority, but what was really frustrating was that they put cheese on a house salad after being told we needed a dairy-free side. I would eat here again, but would not order the brisket or Mac and cheese, nor would I bring a dairy-free friend here again.

I have a severe dairy allergy, so we did our best to select sides that would be dairy free, but asked, just in case. They claimed they couldn't be sure any of them were dairy free (not sure if they bothered to ask a cook) and should just stick with a side salad. Which they covered in finely shredded cheddar cheese. And croutons that looked like they were coated in garlic butter. I was already anxious about eating out with CMPA, but this had me in tears.

this establishment serves alot of fat on togo orders and acts like it is normal. apparently you need to request they not include dog treats and actually serve the portion of meat displayed on the menu. you would do better to drive past it.
