Absolutely horrible. My baked potato was cold and they must have been out of sour cream and butter. My bbq sandwich was smaller than a kids meal burger which was bland. How are people still eating from here as awful as it is?

Decided to Uber eat me some barbecue and tried you all but this baked potato which chop beef was not good. There is no taste to the brisket you gave me spicy sauce and there’s no spice. I know flavor to it. I will continue to go to Big Horn.

My son and I were having a fun evening and wanted some great food to share while we had a movie night. We took a chance on this BBQ joint at the HEB and were beyond happy with the food, and even more with the service.
Alexa and Chris did a great job of putting together our orders, and serving us with a really big smile and promptness. This is now our go-to BBQ joint.
Thanks again to Alexa for handling our order perfectly.

Please fix the coupon scanner on the POS.
I absolutely hate having to go inside everytime to get my coupons to apply. I am already going out of the way for the bbq I like I don't want to have to go inside and wait for CS to fix the ticket and get a refund everytime.

Disgusting. I wasn’t expecting the best bbq at all, but with HEB behind them I was expecting decent bbq. I will be giving this to my dog.

Bar B Q was not up to par, it could have been smoked a little longer, the seasoning was great, the greens were overcooked and the beans were more juice than beans.

Decided to give this place a try while I shopped at HEB. It was the worst bbq I've had in my entire life. I ordered the 2 meat plate double brisket with beans and mac n cheese.
The brisket was moist but was too sweet. It didn't taste good at all with all the sweetness. The beans tasted like canned beans, not cooked all the way through and also incredibly sweet, nothing like bbq beans should taste. The mac n cheese was also disgusting. It was mushy and tasted like something out of a package, very gritty and powdery. I spent close to $20 and am very disappointed. I do not recommend this place at all.

Man this is some good BBQ!!!
Deserts were good as well! Was going to buy a 5k smoker, I think I’ll just buy 5k worth of meat here!

Mid BBQ at best that takes forever to prep an order which is almost certainly always wrong.
Complete waste of time and money for the price.

Weird setup, no atmosphere, brisket super greasy, pickles not the kind to serve with brisket, onions were under the pickles soaked in pickle juice(need to be crisp), potatoes salad was OK. No smoke like one would expect at a real restaurant. The order system is lacking, had to go in store to pay cash, expected to see a robot when I picked up my order.
Don't believe I will be going back....!

This was my first time eating at one of these and from the road I thought it was an actual restaurant I can sit in to eat. Turns out it's a order either at the kiosks or online, then pick up your food to eat elsewhere. They do have a little patio area with a few tables, see my pictures, but the day I went it was 100° so no. Kiosk experience was not great as I tried five times with two different credit cards but the chip reader on the kiosk would not work. So the only way to pay is to then go inside the H-E-B wait in line at the self-checkout scan my little barbecue receipt and pay there. That was also less than optimal because I grabbed a couple other things while I was in there anyway, and when I hit pay now, the self-checkout hung up. The friendly H-E-B assistant came over and advised me that if you're paying for barbecue you have to do it separate from any other groceries. Then I headed back out and finally got my food.
So here's the good part, the food is excellent:
Lean brisket-moist, flavorful, just the right smoke, and a perfect bark.
Smoked Turkey - I am a smoked turkey freak and this just might be the best I've ever had.
Cream Corn - delicious almost gravy like cream, and a nice little bit of char on the kernels
Coleslaw - good with just the right amount of moisture, but this is the one thing that was just kind of bland I feel like it needed some seasoning.
Sweet BBQ Sauce - not my favorite, to me there was something odd about the flavor, but honestly I'm a bad judge of sauce because if the meat is good - and here the meat is superb - I just don't use sauce. I only tried it for this review and I just dipped bread in it.
- speaking of bread, they gave two slices but it's just regular white sandwich bread. To me a Texas BBQ needs to be serving Texas toast size slices of bread, preferably fresh made.
Excellent place I will definitely go again, I need to try the chopped brisket sandwich and the potato salad.
