Stopped here for some food while driving to Big Band National Park. Awesome people and great customer services. The food was exceptionally delicious. Always love stopping by local restaurants.

When looking for Mexican food after our arrival in Marfa, Marfa Burrito came up but it's closed for dinner... Angel's is close by and we decided to try it out Yes, we can get great Mexican dishes in California but Tex-Mex is a different beast altogether. Definitely the sauces have more of a punch which is highly appreciated by the two of us. Combo plate and beef / chicken botanas are very different from what we're used to. Mannn, the sauce is awesome and combining the red and green pepper ones makes for tons of flavor. As dessert we had a half order of sopapillas that were sumptuous and delicious..... 9/10 on the food. Service wise, nice staff - it's a simple setup and it worked out fine at the end. Lastly, the place is equally simple and rugged which is fitting for Marfa, Just the right food at the right time for two tired travellers.

Avoid this hole in the wall. Never been treated so rude. Came in for lunch, was told to sit at a table. Waitress showed up and told us we couldn't have that table. They don't have a clue. We left and grabbed a burrito elsewhere. Much better service and food.

Combo #1, hell yeah! I had the christmas beef enchiladas with fresh onion and they didn't miss. Friendly and family-owned restaurant. The chips and salsa were awesome!

Quaint little place with fantastic food! They have green, red or Christmas (mix of both) for their enchiladas. Their chilli relleno was amazing! Their staff was friendly and helpful when ordering.

I went six months ago in may and I still think about this food frequently. I eat Mexican food all the time, BUT THIS IS SOME OF THE BEST!!! The owner and people there are so sweet. I would definitely reccomend Angel’s!

I struggle when I visit Marfa (typically once a year) because I see the undeniable beauty of some of the higher-end businesses and then I see what taking NYC and putting it (and an awful 'Prada' installation art piece as you drive in, which is frankly, shameful) in a small Texan town. If you Google Marfa these days it won't talk about its rich heritage and people, it will focus on the artsy types who have invaded and taken over, causing locals to not be able to afford to live in Marfa, their home town, any longer. For the years I've been coming I have seen Marfa lose some of their best restaurants but fortunately ANGEL's remains. It has everything REAL and nothing pretentious. There is something disquieting about going into Marfa and seeing all the ritzy things that were brought down from CA or NY and forget that Marfa existed BEFORE those rich people brought their toys. Angels is such an original. You get what you see. It is the real unvarnished Marfa, and we loved it. The staff are locals and they're real hard working people, it's intimate and unvarnished, it stays open late and it's got DELICIOUS MEXICAN FOOD. If you want to go to Marfa to see before the invasion and meet real people then you gotta go to Angels. I had Mexican flag enchilladas which were delicious - just delicious - I hope nobody ever makes Marfa so unrecognizable as to forget its roots - because they're the real diamond in the desert.

Friendly staff. Small place. Longer than normal wait for food. Food was decent, but nothing to write home about. The salsa that comes with the chips was good. A bit off putting to see their main fridge and freezer sitting next to the dining area.

Exactly what I was hoping for when I was ready for a Tex-Mex combo plate in Marfa. Skip the hipster joints and make your way to Angels and get the number two!
