Tiny unassuming restaurant with welcoming vibe- at least from everyone except the older lady with short gray hair. Lady was unhelpful and unwelcoming as you can get without insulting patrons. She seemed like she didn't want anyone to be there.Food is great. Salsa was the best I had in Marfa. Flavorful and not watered down like most other restaurants. I had a breakfast burrito and felt compelled to come back because the food was great and so was the service the first time around. Well, not so much the second time around.Unfortunately I doubt I'll be back. The lady might have been tired or frustrated, but so can everyone else that might come here for dinner. We're all trying to get a bite of home cooking with good service to FEEL like we're at home- as you're ultimately paying for it. But just from that interaction, I'd rather get a cheap burger from DQ, at least there you expect garbage food and garbage service.

We really enjoyed the meal and the small town vibe. The chili releno is one of the best ever. If you like releno, have that. If you've never had one, eat something else, because you will spend the rest of your life searching for one that good.I will also say the morning breakfast is a miss.

Had a fantastic burrito and wife had equally great Huevos Rancheros. All was freshly made and very tasty. Quaint small business with friendly staff. Would definitely return next time we're passing through!

Such a nice little restaurant! The food was amazing and the server had a great sense of humor. The smothered beef burrito made three meals for me, and I have never seen such beautiful, delicious chile rellano. It's all 8n the technique, we're told. Highly recommend a visit if you travel through Marfa!

Nice local eatery that is away from the trendy locations. I had the combo with enchilada and taco. Great place of you want honest Mexican food done right with attentive service.Don't expect a fancy meal with their simple decor and bathrooms out back. But I would come back for a quick bite.Parking: Large dirt lot and limited street parking
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in quite some time. Very authentic and made from scratch. The salsa is maybe the best I’ve ever had.

Stopped in at Angel's when we were starving at a weird time of day (maybe 4pm-ish?). Good service, large portions of good food, at great prices (especially for the area)! Would highly recommend for a quick and cost effective filling meal around Marfa.
