felt very unwelcome not sure what we did to elicit this reaction. We are in the hospitality industry and enjoy serving and tasting espresso. (fully aware this is not a coffee shop) did not even receive a hello upon entry only stares. disappointed to say the least. :/
I ran across Big Bend Coffee Roasters coffee at the Cottonwood Grocery in Study Butte quite awhile ago and since then I have been ordering by mail. After years of loving the Guatemala and Chiapas best we are now in a Feminista - Dark Skies phase this year, but it is all wonderful.
Maria Dungler! Thank you for recommending the Guatemala Maya coffee!! You are so right. Smooth, no acidy feeling.
I went straight to Lowe's during my lunch hour and purchased some.
I can actually DRINK AND ENJOY my coffee now. Any more that you can recommend?
Big Bend Coffee Roasters’ Guatemala Maya IXIL Silky Smooth: Excellent! No more acid-feeling stomach after drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. A fan forever!
We bought a bag of the Dark Skies whole bean coffee at a gift shop downtown back in January, took it home and the coffee was absolutely amazing. My wife and I were craving it so we just ordered a 3 pound bag and wow I’m so glad we did! We go to Marfa every January and will certainly go to the coffee shop next time.
My buddy Joey gave me some their coffee and OMG 😳 SO good and for reference I live in Austin and have never visited the shop itself but I do visit Fort Stockton each year and will definitely make a visit soon 😁

Guy made me a coffee Monday morning that was the best latte I’ve had in Texas.

We waited politely as the staff ignored us and helped multiple people who came in after us. Not sure why we were treated that way but it was disappointing and upsetting to our youngest child.

We found Big Bend Coffee Roasters when we were in the area for spring break in 2020, and we’ve been ordering it ever since. Cattleman’s Cup is our favorite, but we’ve tried others and they’re all great! Love our BBCR!
So many coffee roasters leave in the bitter, and the acid after taste. Dark Skies has neither. I am branching out in this line. I have tried some of the other offerings, but settled on Dark Skies several years ago. I buy 25 lbs at a time in 5 lb bags to get free shipping, I live about 9 hours drive from Marfa so... AND - none of the roasters in the San Antonio-Austin area can touch BBCR for flavor and quality, and there are a lot of so-called roasters around here.

Got some great beans and grounds to take home after visiting Marta/Big Bend. Coffee was very flavorful, and not oily

I ordered two bags of ground coffee on Tuesday evening, by Thursday it had arrived in my doorstep! The shipping is insanely fast! The coffee smells amazing and I just know it’s going to taste amazing too!

Great coffee, but...I've placed several online orders over the past year and shipping was always quick and reasonable. I did have an issue with my last order after discovering several missing items. I tried calling several times over a two week period and left two voicemails with no return call. I truly love the coffee, but not receiving a call back to make right on my order makes me question a lot.

Love, love, love this coffee! Have a 3lb bag delivered to my house every month!
One of my special birthday trips was to this establishment. We arrived at 2:45 only to discover they had closed for the day. Yes I understand the Marfa vibe but it would have been nice to have put a sign out you chose to call it a day. You missed the opportunity of a substantial sale and a good review
