We visited from Dallas for the weekend and WOW. This was truly the best coffee shop I’ve been to in a while! The Halloween cookie and pumpkin donut were stellar! Our drinks were also amazing. Definitely a stop you need to hit when you are in Marfa!

Came for the brisket and pickled jalapeño kolaches, came back again for the cornbread, scones, coffee and incredible proprietors. Every baked good was of the highest quality, my favorite coffee spot in Marfa or pretty much anywhere else.

My fella got the jalapeno brisket kolache and we both had delicious oat milk lattes. I just love this spot!

Found this beautiful little gem by accident and I'm happy that we did. I'm a coffee lover and let me tell you the coffee does not disappoint here Best coffee around. Now unfortunately I did not try any of the food but it all looked delicious and I will be trying it on our next adventure that way.

Amazing espresso— weighed out precisely before brewing which is a rarity. The vibe is immaculate also. Highly recommend!

Great coffee - but the best are the fresh baked pastries. Today was kolache day. Better than any kolache in West, Texas. The owner is also fantastic - if she doesn't have what you want, she will direct you to another place where you can get what you what. Highly recommended - but come early for breakfast so you have lots of choices!

For such a small town, Marfa has a high concentration of excellent coffee shops but Bitter Sugar was my favorite. Highly recommended, very cute shop with stellar coffee and pastries. And to top it off there’s a large collection of board games, cards, and an SNES and PlayStation game systems! We look forward to visiting next time we’re in Marfa.
