In a town where no coffee shop is truly bad, they're still the best.

My favorite coffee shop in town…correction…of all time! That vanilla latte is perfect. Order the bean taco when it’s available.

Hello, I visited yesterday and ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. However, it tasted quite watery, more like matcha with water than a creamy latte. I usually expect a creamy smoother and richer texture, so I thought I’d let you know in case there was an issue with the preparation.

(Edit) Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify, I hadn’t intended to leave a negative rating — I just wanted to share honest feedback in case something went wrong with the preparation.

Even my sister’s drink (a chai latte) tasted too strong and watery for what it was. But she’s “nicer than me” and didn’t say anything 😅

We were traveling, so I’m sorry for not giving instant feedback the second we walked out — I hope this still helps in some way.

Blink and you may miss this quaint cafe... Mutual Friends' staff is indeed friendly. The team member was flying solo on a busy Sunday morning, and never lost her composure. She was kind, efficient, and pulled a fantastic espresso shot!
The biscuits and jam were in the classic Southern style, and the breakfast tacos were spot on and fresh. Snag the zucchini bread while you're there.
Highly recommend... cheers!

When I tell you that this cortado was ON. POINT.

Our lil family had a weekend getaway here in mid-June and we are huge coffee snobs. I hate to say it. But we just are. We had the pleasure of interacting in the early morning (loved that this opened at 7:30am when you have a toddler or just wanting to get an early start to your day!) with the owner. She was such a gem, so kind, and so pleasant to converse with.

We just got one cortado and it was hands down the best we've had in a LONG TIME. Even if you're just passing through, support this local business. You won't be disappointed!

Nice little specialty coffee spot. Was surprised to see a single grouphead La Marzocco.

Ordered espresso & cortado, both were excellent. At time of posting, I *think* I heard they use Greenway Roasters from HTX.

During my recent visit to Mutual Friends in Marfa, Texas, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their chai latte. The blend of spices was perfectly balanced, offering a rich and flavorful experience that was both comforting and invigorating. The pricing was reasonable, providing excellent value for such a high-quality beverage. The café’s ambiance was inviting, with a friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere that made my visit all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend Mutual Friends to anyone in the Marfa area looking for a delightful chai latte at a fair price.
