We always stop here each time we visit the area. It's a very cool outdoor bar with plenty of shade and a full bar. Drinks are always great. They offer food, we just haven't ordered yet, but it looks good.
My parents live in Marfa and Planet is always a for sure stop. There is normally unique clientele which makes for an interesting evening. I definitely recommend stopping in for affordable drinks and a great time.
This place makes me feel like I'm back at Burning Man, with it's open desert air, and unexpected structures and experiences. I once sat here, had a beer, and heard three different languages being spoken all at once. Another time, surprise karaoke happened. This is a dog friendly place, and there are even hitching posts that can help facilitate that if you're not one to go offleash, or you can put your backpack there.
