I picked this diner as our total solar eclipse viewing spot. The employees were nice and attentive. The food was good. The price was right. Having traveled two and a half hours just for this, we hung around outside to get a full view of the beautiful total solar eclipse! Along with other customers, we felt comfortable and welcomed to enjoy our view from the parking lot of this diner. I would eat here again if I’m ever in Marlin again.

Food was delicious, some of the best pancakes I've ever had. The bacon was perfect and the hashbrowns were perfectly crisp on the outside. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Highly recommend stopping here.

This is a quaint little place. The food was great, I had a burger, service was good and we were a difficult party simply because there were 4 of us guys and half of us wanted breakfast the other half lunch. They were so kind to make both with no attitude, or anything. These folks have a little gold mine here if the folks will come in!

The food is really good! The seasoned fries are very crispy which I absolutely LOVED! The burgers are very flavorful and juicy! Also the drinks are GIGANTIC! lol! Overall a really great place to stop by and check out!
Traditional breakfast was fresh hot and served with a smile. It was a good portion size and arrived quickly. Everything was great and they had my mixed fruit jelly for my toast. The new owners make every attempt to accommodate and they're doing it well!

I would really like to rate this restaurant based on their food, but unfortunately for them I can't. We drove almost 3 hours from Houston on Sunday, 11/19/2023, to find a note hand written on the front door saying they were closed today and "sorry for any inconvenience." I checked their Facebook page and called on Saturday, no mention of being closed on Sunday. It is very disappointing to have a 6 hour round trip to have to go eat at a fast food joint in Marlin, I could've done that a mile from the house.Do better, update your social media, tell people when they call, something...
