We stopped in here on a road trip and had the small chicken fried steak and grilled chicken salad. I've never had grilled chicken so moist and flavorful on a salad. The chicken fried steak and fried okra were excellent. What a pleasant surprise in the middle of nowhere.

Stopped in for lunch. Had.to go get the menus ourselves, 8-10mins later, came for our drink order (ordered food at that time). Waitress came back, told us they we making sweet tea,.ok bring us water then the tea. 15 mins later, no water and tea arrived. Took 50 mins to get our food. Mashed potatoes we like warm and same with brown gravy and never got the side salad that came with the meal either. Server came by once about 3/4 way through our meal. If you have 2 hrs for lunch and medium warm food, then this is you place!. Will not be back. Thanks for making us an hour late to a planned event.

We were hungry from a long trip coming back and we just so happened to stumble across this GREAT SPOT! Mr. Brad and Mrs. Brandy and can’t forget Mrs. Amy..were extremely NICE and CARING.My husband order the LARGE Chicken fried steak with a potato and a side salad. We had to get a doggy bag!! I ordered the creamy Cajun pasta. It’s was sssoooo GREAT! Make sure to get extra garlic bread! Mrs. Brandy also brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us as well before we hit the road again!

I would like to tell you the food was good but we never got ours. I got a cup of coffee and set the cup out on the table edge to no avail. She never came to refill it or the water glass I had there also. She finally came and asked us what we ordered after we had been sitting there watching other people who came after us getting their food. She had forgot. Either the manager or owner came out and ask us what we ordered. I told her we are just leaving. They never started our order. Off the menu, nothing special. While that young lady was nice, she should consider a different vocation. We wasted an hour.
Great owners that take pride in their business. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious.
