The service was great, the atmosphere was dated but that doesn't bother me. The cake slice and ox tails were so delicious the best I've had since moving to Texas but the cabbage was plain and the yams were over cooked and dry.

Today was my first visit after hearing about the place for a long time.
I got the fried ribs with 2 sides and a drink, then got a side of chicken spaghetti and a piece of strawberry cake.
The fried ribs and chicken spaghetti both were excellent. The ribs were super tender, and the spaghetti had chicken in pretty much every bite. The strawberry cake was the best I've ever had, without a doubt.
Staff was super friendly. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you give this place a try.

1st time buying food from this establishment. I called before coming to ensure the were open.i spoke with the owner,very nice. I told him I would be driving from shreveport, he stated he would charge me less for a slab of ribs. He did exactly as he said. Honest opinion they were the best ribs and sauce,I have eaten. I repeat ribs and sauce. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Out of all the BBQ places I've tried, I must say Barbeque Express has them all beat. I had the two meat plate with dark meat chicken and brisket with two sides of green beans and cabbage. Both meats were smoked to tender perfection and the bbq sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. 10/10 absolutely recommend!
I'll never eat Bodacious again. Every penny I spent was MORE than worth it. This food is absolutely DELICIOUS. The ribs are so tender, full of flavor, and juicy. Idk what kind of bbq sauce they use but if that make it they need to market it. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. And everyone spoke to me.
