my husband I rode out tryke up from Carthage to eat here. the ride was lovely. the food was fantastic. we each got a sandwich -- mine was chopped brisket, his was pulled pork -- and we shared the potato salad and bourbon baked beans. then we window shopped in the store. everyone was so nice and would often stop and ask us how we were enjoying ourselves. we will definitely go back. thank you everyone.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and all the employees were wonderful. My wife enjoyed exploring the general store. I ordered the 1/2 meat platter with beans and mac and cheese. The brisket was juicy and flavorful, though the ribs were a bit dry and overcooked.

My Dad & I made a detour on the drive from Shreveport to Houston to try out the Saturday BBQ, and boy were we glad we did! Delicious food & the friendliest staff w/ such a cool atmosphere! We will definitely be making the trip again, so good!!

From a retired SC supermarket butcher and Piggly Wiggly owner, your smocked hog jowls are the best quality I’ve found in over 30 years. Found them as seasonal item @ local Walmart, where can I buy them locally in SC?
