There was a group of eight of us who arrived after the barbecue was put up. Kim and Mike went out of their way to get everything back out and load us up with barbecue and all the sides. Thank you very much! Everyone loved the food! We definitely recommend this place and we will be back.

A real gem! It’s slightly outside of town (about 10 minutes) NW of Marshall, TX, in a township called Bear Bottom! It has absolutely wonderful smoked meats in their restaurant and also for retail sale. They also ship meats.The side items were delicious. Their signature iced tea is fantastic!The folks are very friendly and polite. The store has a lot of cool merchandise, which my wife loved. Everything is very clean.There are longhorns and chickens outside! This is a wonderful Texas restaurant and store. Highly recommended.

While Bear Creek Smokehouse has a beautiful setting, the food and service was a different story. I was given a small portion of fatty brisket and sausage all floating in grease. I would give them a one star rating !

I purchased bacon, fudge, and sausage. I haven't tried the bacon but the sausage was not good. My son said the fudge was okay and that it tasted like a milky way bar.
