Bread of Heaven is hands-down one of the best soul food spots I’ve ever experienced! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and Southern hospitality that makes you feel like you’re visiting family. Ms. Rita, the heart and soul behind the kitchen, is a culinary treasure—every dish is clearly made with love and tradition.
The Chicken Spaghetti was perfect, the greens were rich and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the beans and yams - absolutely divine. You can taste the love in every bite.
If you’re anywhere near Marshall, TX, do yourself a favor and stop by Bread of Heaven. It’s more than a meal—it’s an experience you’ll want to come back for again and again. Thank you, Ms. Rita, for sharing your gift with the community!
Food was very good. Staff was very polite. Limited menu items but what they do serve is very good.

Everytime we come to marshall, this is the only place we eat. I love the calm, peaceful environments. The Food is always amazing, It’s like coming to a family reunion. The spaghetti is delicious. The cornbread tastes DIVINE. Will definitely be back
