Order at the counter and then they bring your food out to the table. Very busy this night and had to wait a while to order. Food came out after a while. Catfish was hot and crispy and the crawfish was great. A little loud due to the crowd but other than that it was a nice meal. Staff were friendly and I know tired as they were working hard. I would like to go back when not so crowded. But we will go back as it was a great meal. Prices were $15 to $30 a person.

Feeling about a 3.5 here really, I got a sweet tea and blackened chicken Cajun pastas. The sweet tea was bomb, definitely on point as it should be. The pasta on the other hand was a tad bland and definitely a bit more waterery than it should be. Either someone forgot a splash of pasta water in the Alfred or they're cheaping out using milk instead of heavy cream. Either way the sauce was definitely lacking like some pepper and onion or something, a little muted and one note. The chicken how ever was very good. I just wish there was a little bit more. Food wait time was a bit long but it was pretty busy during my lunch visit. Something to keep in mind too, which I didnt notice til after I ordered which this place had a health department B score which you'd definitely like to see bumped up, not awful but not great either.

Way over priced. Insulate to Cajun cuisine. First warning signs with the establishment is no prices on the menu which is just copy paper. Eat elsewhere

Very flavorful and tasty food, Interesting and varied menu items at a fairly reasonable price. The place is appropriately decorated but could use a good dusting. We go as often as possible!

My family and I enjoy dining at your restaurant, but we’re concerned that you haven’t responded to customer inquiries about the oils used in your dishes. Transparency is important, and customers deserve to know what’s in their food to make informed choices. If you use seed oils, that’s your decision, but please share this information openly with your customers.

Edited: changed to a 2 star review because I can’t get a response on here or FB about what type of oils you use to cook your food with. I think anyone in America knows at this point knows that seed oils/vegetable oils are terrible for human health. Look around. Beef tallow is but one of several better options. If steak and shake can do it, so can you. So because of no response, we assume you’re still using seed oils, and that’s not good for any of us. It is our duty as customers to demand quality and healthy food. If we don’t do it, no one else will.

Original comment: Good food and a nice little restaurant. I’m curious though, what type of oil do you use for cooking fries and other fried items? Beef tallow would be preferred. Also, it would be great if you would accept Bitcoin as payment.

One of our favorite places to go when we're feeling homesick for South Louisiana! Everything is delicious, but make sure you save room for the bread pudding. 😋

I was very disappointed with our visit today. We went out of way traveling home to stop at Cajun Tex in Marshall to eat beignets. We usually eat a meal but since it was afternoon I wanted to stop and get their delicious beignets. This is usually is an awesome place to eat. But today it was not that great! We ordered beignets and coffee. We had to wait on the coffee to brew. The beignets were brought out before the coffee was ready. When the coffee was ready it was terrible. It was very weak. It tastes like half strength coffee or left over coffee. They also said they did not have any cream or milk to go with the coffee. By the time they made another pot of coffee our beignets were getting cold. The waitresses did not seem too concerned about the entire matter. My afternoon treat was a true disappointment! So do not order their coffee!!!!

Got fried Green Tomatoes as a appetizer. Couldn't eat them bcuz, the tomatoes were sliced so thick. Go the Thursday special, 12 shrimp with 2 potatoes and 1 corn. That was the nastiest food ever.
