Wasn't greeted walking in. Didn't know where to order. Nachos were bland and not good. Elote not good. Chicken tacos good, Breakfast burrito good. Birria I've had better. Had to ask for salsa yet they cheerfully brought it to everyone else table. If you don't want people that look like me to come here it's noted.

Each time I've ordered to-go from here, the food has been amazing. You might have to wait a couple minutes for your food, but I think it is absolutely worth waiting for. The portion/cost ratio is great, the flavors are great, and the service is always friendly. On our way back from an 8-hour drive to see a Dr, we ordered a birria pizza 10 minutes before closing over the phone, and, while I was apologetic for the late-late order, the lady at the window (I'm so sorry I didnt get your name) was kind, polite, and let me get a couple pictures of their menu for future orders (the pizza was 10/10 btw). We've yet to be disappointed in any way by Taco Reyes. 100% recommended to all my friends and coworkers.

Ran out of cheese and said they couldn’t find any at the store… didn’t let us know and we waited about 30minutes before asking what was taking so long. Other customers came in and ordered and got their tacos and other food but for whatever reason we were left to wonder why our food wasn’t out… if they would have communicated to us that they were running low on cheese or out we could have ordered something different or ordered and did the other stuff we had to do and came back for our food. First time we came here and this happened… I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re okay with just bringing your own cheese… who would have thought a taco place would run out of cheese and not be able to find any with a super one, krogers, and a Walmart in town… oh along with an actual Mexican grocery store too but I guess everyone was out of cheese since whoever went to go get it said they couldn’t find any cheese went they went out for it… ridiculous.

Ordered and paid. Waited a long time finally asked what was taking so long and the lady said they ran out of cheese… said whoever went to go get cheese couldn’t find cheese… like seriously? Not sure why they couldn’t have said this beforehand… meanwhile we watched as people came in after us and ordered, got their food, ate and left… guess those people didn’t have cheese? Pretty sure they did from what we could see… not impressed by the way our order was handled at all… if your running low on something tell your customer when they order and give them the option to wait or come back instead of leaving them in the dark. Will not be giving this place a second chance either… very disappointed.

Tacos are the bomb, cool little place with good vibe. Hidden gem in marshall, stop by, you won't regret it. Every thing I've tried is good, you can't go wrong. And they sell beer, win win.

Young lady's very polite. Food cold. Owner should invest into more employees in the kitchen to speed up the process. Close to an hour of waiting on a slow night. Gave the cold food to the cats outside my hotel

Food was good but not the best. The meat was dry on my bistek and chicken tacos. I also tried their new king colorados they were nothing special the tortilla was dry it had about the same or if not less meat same as the cheese of the regular colorados. I've been here several times, We loved the atmosphere up until now we loved how it was a dim light ambient with the neon signs. Now the past 2 times i've been back it's just so bright. This was also the first time I would say something bad about this restaurant and the first time I leave a review but the service was just not it the waitress she was just very rude and short, had glasses and bangs she should check her attitude, If you want good service i advice you to go during lunch. Will not be eating there if she is my waitress again. I overall love this restaurant and will be coming back just had terrible two experiences.

Quality of food is going down dramatically. I won’t ever get be eating here again. Last six attempts I thought I’ll maybe they have a new chef learning. . But it kept getting worse. The meat tasted borderline spoiled. This was my favorite Mexican food location. Unfortunately these past six orders the quality and taste is getting worse and worse. Proportion is also getting smaller. They charged me extra $$$$ for extra topping on one order. And the order without extra was actually bigger and had more toppings than the one they charge extra for. It’s going to be few season before coming back. Thanks for the delicious food in past. In 2025 the quality and quantity definitely changed. For the worse.
