Tavolo13 is easily the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The ambience is warm, elegant, and inviting. You can feel the care that went into every detail.
They recently brought in a new chef about a month ago, and he’s truly amazing. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he also came out to personally check on us. You can tell he cooks with passion and heart. There was no wait at all for a table and the waiter called me by name as soon as I walked through the door.
We ordered the lamb, spinach, sea bass, and a bottle of white wine. Everything was cooked to perfection. The lamb, done medium well, was unbelievably tender and flavorful. I’m a bit of a meat connoisseur, and this was the best I’ve had in a long time. The sea bass was light and perfectly seasoned, and even the spinach was outstanding.
The service was flawless from start to finish. If you’re thinking of trying Tavolo13, don’t hesitate. This place is something special.

Absolutely the worst tasting steak we have ever had. It was so tender and cooked perfectly medium rare But had absolutely NO Flavor at all. They brought us some seasoning and butter to the table but it just isn’t the same. We just could not eat it so here is a 200$ meal that’s going in the trash. So disappointed!!

The wine selection and service was amazing. However, we had a reservation and when we ordered they were out of the ribeye and the tomahawk. The New York strip was cooked perfectly. The veal chop was extremely disappointing. The chef went overboard with the black pepper. The breading on it was inedible, which is a shame since it was a lovely cut of meat. The side of seasonal vegetables ended up being dry baked baby carrots covered in black pepper with no apparent salt or moisture to be found. They were also inedible, which was disappointing at that price point.

Great atmosphere ! Best wine selection in east Texas ! Appetizers good then it started . Wedge salad had ranch not blue cheese . The 1/4 inch thick veal Chop was fried and loaded with black pepper ??? Should tell you all you need to know if you have a clue about good food . Snapper was dry , rubbery and spicy . Way disappointed in food . If you want to go for wine and appetizers place looks great . Stay away from Dinner menu ! !!! People were nice . But owner brought my plate out and said it was his favorite . Have you ever been to a five star restaurant and had a veal chop ? They are not fried in whatever funky batter that was , they are a high end meat that’s grilled just like a steak and are known for the tenderness of the calf . Wow!!!!!

We had our anniversary dinner there and it did not disappoint! From the shrimp appetizers to our entrees. My wife had the chicken with asparagus and I had a filet with the mushrooms. The flavor of both entrees were amazing and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere here is perfect for a special occasion or an intimate gathering of friends. We will be back soon!
