I may be biased since this is my hometown waffle house, but this is my favorite place to eat around there. The food is reliably good, and the people are fun to watch. I'm always impressed watching the servers work with each other in such a small area. Definitely recommend this place if you want good comfort food without too much wait.

Tonight my fiancé and I ate at waffle house at 830 pm in Marshall tx. The staff was so nice and super friendly. They worked well together as a team. They were helping each other and working together and it made for a great relaxing atmosphere. The food was hot and fresh and i never ran out of coffee... Were not the kind that randomly goes out at 830 but we were traveling back home from the holidays and intrusive thoughts got us and we were super impressed! Thanks guys!!

We decided to stop on our way to CA (don't ever drive from VA to CA) and it was both our first time eating Waffle House. One thing about being on the road for twenty plus hours is that you are a bit cranky and tight so perhaps that masked the welcome that I don't believe I heard upon entering the establishment.
I believe a Jairon was my husband and I server and he was pleasant. Called me ma'am and ensured he took down my order accurately. He even stopped by MULTIPLE times to confirm we had everything we needed and ask if everything was good. And though I was a bit surprised by the american cheese that was on everything lol, that white lady who cooked our food did a damn good job as everything was truly divine.
The atmosphere is ranked low because there was a third employee whose name I didn't get as she really gave NPC in the worst way. There was a reluctance to assist people as they came in and a gentleman who was waiting at the counter seat had to exclaim how he was waiting for 10 mins without being acknowledged. She was not friendly and her aura darkened the mood.
The four stars are for Jairon and the cook.

My 9yr old daughter says they deserve a 5 Star, the food was great they cleaned their plates and Kourtney as great she is so friendly and polite. We enjoyed it. First timers here.

Ordered our food there was seven workers in there and only one cook. We sat there for 40 minutes and still she had not started our order. We will not be back at this waffle house ever again

Recently visited this Waffle House and the customer service and food was awful!! One of the workers came out and insulted me in front of my kids for no apparent reason ! The bacon was dry and like it was cooked in the microwave, grits was cold , eggs was cold and soggy , and raisin bread was burned ! I need management to reach out to me ! I will also be calling cooperate ! Horrible and worse experience for a Waffle House ecspecially off of a big highway exit where I’m sure many people stop by during their travels

Terrible service, waffles were uncooked, kid behind the counter could care less about his job. Even heard him say, it’s not my fault I just work here. Worst Waffle House I’ve ever been to. To be completely honest.

I was disappointed with my recent visit. The food quality wasn’t up to expectations, and the coffee was served cold. Unfortunately, the service also fell short — the waitress seemed distracted and not very attentive. I hope the management can work on improving the overall experience, as Waffle House is usually known for better service and hospitality.
Place is dirty and they have roaches. Roach was crawling on our bench and outside in back of their building it was infested with roaches. When we told waitress about the roach her response was well I use mop water. Still had to pay for our food and it was no apology.
