Took way too long to get my one burger and one fry order. Had a $50 order before me and a large group order after me. Both got their orders and two more guys after me got their orders but I didn’t. They forgot my order. Need to be more organized and need to read their order monitors better. Burger was excellent fries needed more time in fryer as they were not crisp.
Took close to an hour to get our food in total. They gave our food to someone else, so they had to remake it, and it took another 20+ minutes to get it! Told the manager that we weren't happy at all, and her only comment was, "I'm sorry"!! 🤦♂️ this place has gone downhill bad!!! I used to love it, not anymore!! If I could give negative stars, I would!! Picture is of the manager that was working.

I ordered a double meat Whataburger INSIDE THE RESTAURANT just the sandwich with no cheese. I came at 2:45a and my burger wasn’t done until 3:20a. No one was at the register the entire time for me to get my money back. After practically walking behind the counter just to get someone’s attention the guy tells me my burger will be finished in “30 seconds” AKA THEY NEVER COOKED MY BURGER. I AM NEVER EATING WHATABURGER AGAIN. THEY NEED TO SHUT DOWN.
Food was nasty and my fries was recooked my burger funny taste to it… but the customer service were good
Went to Whataburger tonight around 10. They got our order wrong but that is not why I am giving the 1 rating. The girl apologized for ringing us up incorrectly but instead of someone coming to give us they money back that we were over charged they were trying to make the order taker CashApp us the difference out of her personal bank account. But with all of that the 1 rating was because 1st they made us sit a long time while they tried to correct the incorrect order, then they they gave us very old and stale fries and a very old and stale pie. Also the burger was not good either. I ended up throwing the entire meal away so it ended up being a horrible waste of money. The only thing that was OK was the drink I got.

Easily the worst Whataburger I've ever been to. Between 2019-2023, this was a 1-star establishment. It's improved, but that's only because they haven't got my order wrong. Historical, if you ordered more than three meals, someone was getting a wrong order. They've cleaned that up. What they haven't done is make sure the food is hot when it's given. Since 2018, I haven’t had a hot burger or fries that weren't cold and soggy. The quality is consistently terrible regardless of the time of day, whether it's busy or slow.
The owner should look at Henderson and Lindale for tips. Heck, even Kilgore's is better. Joaquin and Timpson also have respectable Whataburger restaurants. Carthage? Worst in the state by far.

My husband ordered our food at 3:38 based on our receipt, he didn’t get it until 4:58pm… 20minutes! For a chicken strip meal, and a patty melt. Stupid insane to wait that long.

I’m gonna tell y’all a story. I’ll try to keep it as brief as possible.
I wasn’t born in United States. I’m was actually born in Jalpan, a small town in the state of Quéretaro. This place is about 10 hours south of the border from McAllen, Texas.
I remember when I was a little boy I used to always wonder what United States was like. I remember seeing all the skyscrapers and big cities in movies and just being so amazed, wondering what it would be like to walk around the streets in places like New York.
In 2008, my mother and I finally got our United States resident cards(green cards). I remember that day so clearly. My whole family was so excited about this big accomplishment. We got even more excited when my dad asked us if we wanted to come over to Texas and visit a few places that same day.
I had never left Mexico and frankly, the thought of being so far from home made me a bit nervous, but I was also extremely excited and eager to visit a new place. We decided that we were gonna walk across the border rather than drive across simply because of the fact that it’s easier than having to get several permits to able to drive across the border.
We had finally made it across the border through all the security checkpoints at around 2:00PM and keep in mind that we had been up since around 5:00AM that morning.
Going through the security checkpoints is a very lengthy process. Therefore, we had built quite an appetite and began asking my dad if we could get something to eat. My father smiled and asked, “Do y’all want some Whataburger?”
We had no idea what Whataburger was. He decided to take us to the Whataburger in 824 S International Blvd. Hidalgo, Texas, which is right across the border.
By God that was the best burger I had ever had up to that point in my life.
We moved to East Texas in 2009 and started a new life.
Fast forward to 2015. Two years after the debut of the famous Monterrey Melt. It was a late night and we were driving home from visiting some relatives in Tennessee. We still had about two hours left of driving until arriving at our home in East Texas. We pulled into a Whataburger to grab something to eat. ‘Twas the night that I fell in love with the Monterrey Melt.
Fast forward to November, 2018. After 10 years of living in United States as a US resident I went through the naturalization process and became a United States citizen. I was happy that day. Had a Monterrey Melt meal to celebrate later that evening.
Fast forward to November, 2021. After dealing with some mechanical issues at work on some equipment, I decided that I was going to have a MMM(Monterrey Melt Meal). I thought I knew what a heartbreak felt like...I can’t believe I was so naive and thought I knew real pain. Real pain is when you ask for a Monterrey Melt Meal and you immediately get shot down with eight simple yet hurtful words, “I am sorry. We no longer sell that.”
I didn’t come to this country, learned a second language, went through high school and college and become a United States citizen just for y’all to stop selling the Monterrey Melt Meal.
For this reason, I am giving it 3 stars. I hope to one day see the Monterrey Melt Meal back in action.
Other than that, great staff, great environment. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.

Another online order. Put in at 11:50. Supposed to be ready at 12:05 to 12:10. Dine in. My wife and i walked in at 12:05 and told counter help i was there for on line order. She went back and checked and advised they were working on it. We got our drink cups and went and sat down. I stopped the counter help at 12:20 and asked where my order was. It was brought to us at 12:25. Problem was that the wifes burger was cold to the touch... fries were hot and my patty melt was warm. They need to work thier system better. This was at a second store because our usual store was just as bad. Seems if you want all your food hot, dont use online ordering

The wait in the drive-thru was 25 minutes. The food was inedibly salty, like someone had knocked over the salt shaker onto my hamburger. I discovered this after driving down the highway on my 150-mile journey home. I couldn't eat the food, and I didn't want to turn around and go back to wait another 25 minutes for them to *hopefully* get it right. Never had a bad experience at a Whataburger until now. Please improve, Whataburger Marshall, TX.
