Awful service. They didn’t communicate how long the wait would be just there’s a wait. There were 3 open tables and 3 booths but we were never seated. Excuse I was given was the kitchen was backed up so there was no reason to seat us. Just let us stand for an hour. They could have seated us and taken drink orders at least. Watched 6 other groups come in and leave. It’s loud as well. I would recommend crappy karaoke be after the dinner service not during. It appears they want to be more bar than restaurant.

Food was okay , limited menu. Our server was very confused. They brought the salad out with the meal.She said, that's how they do it. Which i've never had my side salad brought out with the meal. My buddies shrimp po boy, was literally bread and shrimp. no tartar sauce mayonnaise nothing. Had to ask for some condiments, to put on it. After ten minutes, we gave up and he just ate it dry. My buddy's hamburger had like one pound of jalapenos on it. Didn't realize it would come with that 😆 They're they're just slapping stuff together there. I hope they improve. But better places to eat in Matty.

Snappers made the move to the new location! The atmosphere was great they had live music and great vibes. No mosquitoes! Service was good, … food was slow to come out but it’s made to order. Everything was great. My Mahi was slightly over cooked but still delicious. My spouse had the fried fish and enjoyed it. The beer was ice cold.

Absolutely amazing food. Everything was homemade and delicious, service was excellent. As an out of towner, this was the perfect stop for lunch. Try the alligator balls and the dirty rice!

I hate the tables cause it hurts my back. I’ve had a previous broken back and neck. can’t wait for the new restaurant to open up.
Me and my family came last summer and this waitress was so awesome. came back this year and luckily she is still there. her name is Rebecca and she is absolutely amazing!! great service great personality. felt like I was dining with a friend. the food was delicious and was cooked to perfection. the wait was not long either. we absolutely love this place and will forever be returning. found a diamond in the ruff. cannot brag enough on this place

Snappers is one of our favorite Sunday funday locations. The food is always good and we have had excellent service during every visit (especially with Rebecca). You can't go wrong with seafood or the burgers. If you are in Matagorda, Snappers is the best choice for good food, friendly service and entertainment!
