Good “O” is Nigerian for GOOD. So this is a great casual place with great service and great tasting food. Good is Ready, another Nigerian term !

Amazing seafood. It’s like walking into a home cooked meal!

The black drum with corn relish and cilantro cream sauce was refreshing and downright delicious. Their pineapple cornbread is the best cornbread I've ever had. I really appreciate how this restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients and it elevates itself above the usual standard fried seafood fare that other restaurants usually follow.

Edie, the owner/chef, is AMAZING! Friendly, attentive wait staff. Gourmet food at very reasonable prices. The pineapple cornbread will melt in your mouth and put dimples on your thighs... Worth it! Crab cakes were light and fluffy. Fresh seafood.

Great Food and Great People.

Very nice and accommodating. We didn't know to have reservations, and they accepted us anyway. Food was delicious. Didn't expect gourmet food in this quaint small town. Highly recommend.

By far one of my favorite places on Earth. The owner is truly an amazing chef and the environment is second to none. My favorite dish is the nutcrusted fish and I love that I never have to think about what wine to pair with it, because they always suggest the perfect pairing. I can't even pick a favorite when it comes to appetizers, because every single one is soooooooooo good. So thankful that this gem is in Matagorda County. This is a must stop and a perfect reason to get in the car for a road trip. ♥️

Amazing fresh food worth every penny. Yes, it may be a bit pricey for a small town, but with the care and love put into this amazing food it's worth it.

Excellent seafood staff and owner personally greeted us Had such a good dinner and wine menu the best. Fine dining in such a small community what a pleasant surprise.

Food was very good, service amazingly attentive and they managed to get us a table in 10 mins on a Friday night, holiday weekend. And they were apologetic for the 2-3 mins we had to wait, a wonderful experience to add to our trip to Texas.
