Work on tug boat we stop here every chance we get . The fried flounder is the best I've ever had . The cheese burgers are great too . Service is good and cooks do a great job food is fast and correct .

This is our go to place for a sea food dinner out in Matagorda. The staff is always super friendly, and the views of the marina and the intercostal are relaxing. I knocked it one star bc the food is only ok. Your salad will be ice berg; the bread is ok, but not great; instead of butter, it's margarine; etc. Several of us enjoy their fettuccine Alfredo. The fish and shrimp will be good if they're fried, but are only sometimes good if grilled. (Though it is fresh, I think) I hate to even write this bc I really appreciate a lot about them -and the staff are lovely- but I'd love it if they stepped up their food game a notch, especially at those prices.

We stopped in after fishing. Haven't been here in years and thought it can't still be good. But- I was surprised. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. I had a Shrimp 🦐 Po-Boy which was great. We had an Appetizer of cooked oysters with a zesty dip. What a great compliment to the atmosphere and fantastic afternoon view of the marina. Some very good eating happened that day. Come and experience. Highly recommended.

Stop Thru this area to catch my work boat..I had a little time to spare,so we found this little hidden gem and decided to eat..The Grilled Chops was absolutely incredible.....The Server was Very Inviting...I will be recommending to all my coworkers and captains

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this so-called “waterfront” restaurant in Matagorda was beyond disappointing. From the start, the staff showed complete incompetence. It took forever just for a waitress to even acknowledge our table, and when she finally did, the service was sluggish, careless, and unprofessional.
As someone who works in the restaurant business, I can confidently say this place is a textbook example of how not to run a dining establishment. The food was nothing more than over-fried, frozen garbage disguised as a menu. Absolutely no care, no freshness, and no pride in what they serve.
I strongly discourage anyone from wasting their time or money here. There are plenty of better options in Texas—don’t ruin your evening with this disaster of a restaurant.
