The Dusty Saddle Saloon is a great bar, l wish bars were like this in Australia. The staff (Jenifer) and patrons were so friendly, we were there for the potluck Monday, John made an awsome chilley, but there were so many options. Beers were cold and very reasonably priced. It would have been great to have been staying qin the area for more than just one night.

Horrible place you walk into a dingy ugly plane full of cigarettes smoke. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU ARE THERE FOR A SMOKE AND BEER! Sad!!

Lots of locals at this bar and most were smoking; there was a cloud across the entire place. Beer was cold but this is not a full bar and there are limited choices. Mostly local folks seem to hang out there and we’re friendly enough.

By my wife's suggestion, the two of us, out of state tourists in Texas, stopped to grab something to eat.We walked in and conversations stopped. A quick read of the room told me that probably everyone knows everyone in there and we were sticking out like a sore thumb.The bartender lady provided good service to us and the patrons were polite enough to not come out and ask us where we're from, although I suspect that might be a question they've debated.The food was good and they specially accommodated my wife's vegetarian preferences, which was appreciated.I rate the "atmosphere" 5/5, as such an encounter with the locals doesn't get any more authentic than that.Thank you!

Stopped by on the way home after a work day and I was very impressed. The bartender, Jennifer, was welcoming and friendly. Loved the atmosphere and the friendly patrons! I highly recommend stopping by anytime you are in the area.
