We were looking for an authentic, small town home cooking place. Old Fashion fell right at lunch time so we checked it out. Very small, very local crowd. Very great country home cooking. We both had chicken fried steak, with fries, gravy, toast and a side salad. Loved it! Prices are great and service was fantastic!
Take a trip back into the 70s as they haven't done much to change the on inside or the outside for that matter. Think short order cook doing magical work on a grill. Heart healthy, probably not. Soul healthy complete with comfort food... absolutely!
First time trying this place. Just like other places I have dined in at this place here in west Texas doesn't disappoint. The food is excellent, I had the Char Burger with fries and a sweet tea. The staff were extremely friendly as well. I have all 5 stars across the board. The best places I have ever found to eat are small businesses as they have a reputation to uphold and Old Fashion Freeze doors just that and the food speaks for itself.
