I ordered the fried pork chops that come with two side and a salad well my onion rings turn into fried okra that never ask for pork was thin with too much bread on it that was bland the baked potato was straight .. for 20 bucks think not ..

On Friday, August 1st, my husband and I took off across country on a road trip to Myrtle Beach, SC.
For dinner, we stopped at Rock Inn Cafe in Memphis, Texas. It’s a cute country styled cafe with friendly staff. I grew up saying “yes ma’am, no ma’am and yes sir, no sir “. Now I was the one being ma’amed 🥰. We both ended up ordering the Chicken Fried Steak meal. That included two pieces of hand battered steak with homemade cream gravy, fresh cut fries, and a salad. The Rock Inn Cafe claims their chicken fried steak is what made them famous. I’d agree. The steak was basically fork tender and packed with flavor!! Most chicken fried steak is bland and you need the gravy for flavor. Gravy is an option for this dish, it’s delicious either way. I’d definitely recommend the Rock Inn Cafe if you’re ever in Memphis, Texas ♥️🤍💙

This is a great place for the price and location! When we came around noon, they had a flat fee buffet for 12$. Food was delicious!

Hesitated slightly after reading a couple lower reviews but so glad we decided to give this place a try. The breakfast quesadillas were delicious and everything else was good and cooked just right. Sweet server who was attentive and kind. Cute and clean place. We are traveling through or we’d be back for sure.

They did great seating all 18 of us, taking orders, and getting our breakfasts out fairly quickly. Servers were friendly and attentive. The Cowboy Eggs Benedict are awesome! No complaints from our group of hungry bikers.
The burger was decent at best. Pulled into the truck stop next to it saw the place it looked like a good cooked meal could be made there however thats not the story. The food was bland they had no brisket or pork. The fries were horrible soggy and barely any tater with the fry. The waiter that took our order was pleasant and then some other waiter came out screaming no man is gonna control her and all this political stuff young ppl will say when they are overly emotional. Just was a waste of money.

Food was decent, but it took forever to get our food! We could hear cooks and waitresses talking in kitchen about how people should know better than to get here before closing.... when it took an hour to get food! This place has possibilities, but it lacked management big time.
