The service has drastically changed here the last few months, it is so robotic and completely unfriendly I’ve begun avoiding going in there and I have loved our little coffee shop!
I normally don’t post a bad review anywhere but I really hope things change here so I feel like I want to spend my money in there again.
I spent the morning here while visiting the new Library in Meridian. Good cup of coffee and pastry. Glad to see down Meridian coming back to life.

I was disappointed in both the service and the coffee. I walked in without any kind of greeting and just stood there staring at them for what seemed like a really long time. It would have been just fine if someone would have acknowledged me and said they would be right with me, but silence. They took my order, gave me my food and coffee finally. When I got in the car I expected the coffee to taste the same as the last time I was there, but it just was not good. I’ve looked forward to coming to this place in the past but just not at all impressed today.

Coffe was great, and so was the service. The empanada was good but not great. I will try something else next time I stop by.

This place is fantastic. I had the Empanada (chorizo, egg, jalapeño), it was absolutely wonderful. My wife had a raspberry and cream cheese Croffin, she loved it. The service is great and the coffee I had was so good. Atmosphere is great as well.

I stopped by as I had to come through town early enough for breakfast. It is a cute spot with good coffee. My kids loved the cinnamon roll!

Found this Small Town Perk in Meridian after an appointment there. I was hoping to find a good hot cup of coffee. What I found was to definitely tell them no sweetener when they ask. Most importantly be very specific how you want the cream when they ask, because you'll end up with a half a cup of cream to half a cup of very cold syrup coffee. When you send it back & ask for less cream (no sweetener) you get luke warm coffee with a dot & i do mean a small dot of cream. After leaving i drove around looking for a store to heat up this coffee I was mildly impressed with, served by 2 woman who seemed to have a real problem that I asked them to please remake the 1st cup. I did find a store to heat it up, ended up throwing away their coffee & bought the stores coffee that was fresh, bot, & delicious. I know where I'll be getting my next cup of coffee in Meridian & the cashier was very nice !

Every time I am in Meridian, I stop here. 10/10 recommend. Their coffees are fantastic. I cannot recommend enough their avocado toast. I also tried their grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwich yesterday. Hands down, the best chicken salad I’ve ever had.
Fantastic little shop. Food was amazing! Highly suggest this stop.

I was passing by between appointments and found Small Town Perk 10min before they were closing on a Saturday. They were so welcoming even though they were closing soon. The chicken salad is incredible. The staff is so friendly. Highly recommend!!

Disclaimer - I haven't tried the coffee here yet, but will update if I do.
Nice location just off the Square. The atmosphere was clean, and quaint and unpretentious. I love that Meridian has this place!
The staff was friendly and helpful. I noticed they followed food safety protocols (wore gloves to make food, food seemed to be stored adequately). And they cheerfully accommodated my dietary needs.
The sandwiches were fresh and delicious.
They even had some books for both children and adults. As well as some items for sale (stickers reusable cups etc)
Four stars as I mentioned I wasn't able to try the coffee, and the drink menu was a little overwhelming for me, though I know many people like that. Also I wish there was some more in the way of decor, baked goods (though we may have just come too late in the day) and maybe shirts, mugs, or other merch with their logo to purchase.
I will be back next time I'm in town.
