First and last time to ever support this business. My fiancé went in to get some donut holes on a Saturday morning before 9am. The lady at the counter acted as if he was a complete inconvenience to even exist within the shop. We had never been to this shop before so we didn’t know anything about it going in. No prices were shown anywhere in the store. Okay whatever it’s a donut shop no big deal. All we wanted was some donut holes. Heaven forbid being a customer and wanting to know about a product wanted to be purchased. She asked him if he had a pickup order and he told her no and asked if that was a requirement to buy things as we had never been there before. She gave him an eye roll and a “what do you want” reply.
Like, I’m honestly surprised he didn’t just walk out without the donut holes with that kind of poor treatment.
Having a bad day or not, that’s no way to treat a new customer when he didn’t even do anything to instigate that kind of attitude. I would get it if he was acting like a jerk Karen but he was just honestly wanting to get a couple dozen donut holes. That’s it.
