“It’s a hole in the wall! But it’s worth the trip for sure! We came to Merkel for a Going Home our coC preacher recommended and he was not wrong! We drove out of our way to eat there a 2nd time before flying out of DFW IAP the smothered chicken was as perfect as the first time. We are visiting again in a few months & SKEET’s is on the itinerary! Have had the pleasure of eating meals from all of the country & world - the food is worth a 2nd, 3rd go! Isn’t that right Bro.
