Fantastic lunch 😁 today.its a great 😃 small town vibe. Two restaurants tied together with a merchandise store part of the same area. Super friendly folks with really great service, even when their busy. Then there's the great 👍 food! The regular size chicken fried steak was plenty of food for lunch 😁😋 (they do have a bigger size) it was very tender. The green beans had a touch of spicy to them mixed with cooked onions Andy sausage, made for a great flavor. You like okra! Yep, me too. Theirs is very good. Then there's the 🥧 pie. I had a slice of chocolate meringue, it did not disappoint 😀. Our group also had a wrap and a good oll fashioned burger and fries 🍟. Their desert was coconut meringue pie 🥧. Can't wait to go back to try something else on the menu. There's also a whole days activity just walking around downtown 😁.

We stopped here for lunch as we were driving through town. Cute place, but the food was only so-so. I ordered the French Dip. The bread was toasted and dry, there wasn't enough cheese on the sandwich and my curly fries were cold. Our Server was attentive but she was very busy so no small chit-chat that you'd expect at a small town Mom & Pop kind of place.

One kitchen for 2 restaurants. What could go wrong? Waited for our sandwiches 45 minutes. Never came and we had to leave. Waited 20 more minutes to pay for our tea only for the short brown haired lady to gaslight me that “well I that’s because it hasn’t come out” No shit lady. She she then said “ don’t worry about it. Have a nice day” rude then walked fast by me. Never again

Me and my Family wanted to go out to enjoy company during the holidays and we were greatly disappointed in the service that we experienced. Previously we have had great service from east Texas burger/Waffalata however today we were treated rudely. We were greeted with attitude and hostility and then we waited over an hour for our food. Which we understood because of the lunch rush and the food was worth the wait. however multiple drinks were left empty for 30+ minutes. The environment overall was unwelcoming. We will probably return in the future because we love to support our local businesses however we were upset with how our lunch experience went this time :/

Thank god the food was decent, the service was horrible and we waited 45 min for our food & the tables were dirty, would not go back or recommend, very disappointed, maybe takeout would be better.
We waited 45 minutes and kept asking g about our food never was we offered and appetizer while we waited or how bout a complimentary dessert. No just a manager that got loud in the middle of the restaurant and embarrassed my whole table. Then had to have the last word when we checked out. Manager should be a lil more professional in how she talks to customers. She represents your name! We were from out of state with a friend that lives here. Not a good first impression at all.
