So many great items and at a great price. So many both with antiques and new. The lady who was at the cashier was very nice.

Me and my Family wanted to go out to enjoy company during the holidays and we were greatly disappointed in the service that we experienced. Previously we have had great service from east Texas burger/Waffalata however today we were treated rudely. We were greeted with attitude and hostility and then we waited over an hour for our food. Which we understood because of the lunch rush and the food was worth the wait. however multiple drinks were left empty for 30+ minutes. The environment overall was unwelcoming. We will probably return in the future because we love to support our local businesses however we were upset with how our lunch experience went this time :/

Great lunch stop for yummy burgers and fried pickles! We were tempted by the fried pies and they were delicious. Good blueberry tea, too.

Thank god the food was decent, the service was horrible and we waited 45 min for our food & the tables were dirty, would not go back or recommend, very disappointed, maybe takeout would be better.

THIS IS NOT A BREAKFAST PLACE. No waffles sold here at la waffalata. I bet they confuse people all the time..

Aside from all of that great place and service and sandos.

Excellent lunch and dessert today.

Parking: If street parking is full, there are other parking options around the corner that would be difficult for a wheelchair to access.

We waited 45 minutes and kept asking g about our food never was we offered and appetizer while we waited or how bout a complimentary dessert. No just a manager that got loud in the middle of the restaurant and embarrassed my whole table. Then had to have the last word when we checked out.
Manager should be a lil more professional in how she talks to customers. She represents your name!
We were from out of state with a friend that lives here. Not a good first impression at all.
Thank you

Literally the best chicken fried steak Ive had in YEARS. I got that, the mashed potatoes, and potato salad and all of it was delicious. I will absolutely be coming back here the next time I'm in Mineola. Also, everyone that works here is so incredibly kind!

Had a delicious BLT sandwich with chips and salsa but service was slow. They seem to be understaffed. Enjoyed my lunch tho and will go back.

While visiting family in Quitman, Tx, we were treated to La Waffalata in Mineola. We were seated quite quickly despite having a party of five adults and three toddlers. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs.Positives: As stated above, the staff were awesome. The prices felt like we were in the 80’s, especially in the current economy. The serving portions were incredible. The value was THE BEST food for money on our entire fourteen day trip throughout the US. Not even close.Negatives: These are small pet peeves, FYI. Dinnerware was plastic, which is fine for most foods, but difficult for Chicken Fried Steak. The food also took twenty to thirty minutes to arrive, but considering the quality and quantity of it, I feel bad even mentioning it.The atmosphere had a diner vibe mixed With a wholesome down home feel. Exactly what one would expect. And that’s not a bad thing. But for those looking for ambiance and low light atmosphere, they may have to travel elsewhere. However, I would absolutely tell them they are missing out.Obviously this is a local hot spot as it was consistently busy for lunch. It’s everything you’d expect from a quaint southern restaurant/town and then some!

Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs, booster seats, a kids menu, and an arcade.

Great food and good prices. Even had gluten free options for my daughter with celiac disease.
