I have had a lot better service and food from this jalapeño tree. First the rice was old not even warm however the beans were piping hot like they should be and the fajita meat was very very very dry. The waiter was just "ok". Food took about normal time however our waiter had completely forgotten that we had ordered fajitas and didn't have tortillas, I had to track her down it wasn't until she returned to our table that she realized. Mind you I give them a chance , she quickly dropped our food off without much of a conversation and proceeded to take orders from two other tables between the time she dropped our food off and when I had to tracker her down for the tortillas.
I know people have bad nights maybe this was just the case but the overall experience this time was not favorable.

We ordered the shrimp Quesadilla. It was perfectly seasoned with crispy edges. Ice cream cones are free. Service was fast, even as a bus load of college kids arrived.

Great Frozen Margaritas! Love the chips and salsa's (Red, Green, and Red Hot) too! Service is always so good! My favorite on the menu are the Chicken Enchiladas! They have great sauces to choose from, I like the ranchero, or the tequila cream sauce, or the spicy jalapeno cream sauce! The menu is fantastic and they also have a terrific selection of specialty margaritas! The colorful atmosphere and great old tunes playing in the background make for a great vibe! I love the Jalapeno Tree, I've tried the other Tex Mex places around, but I'm usually so dissatisfied that I always come back to the Tree!

Came in for dinner tonight around 7:30 10.20.23. Place was clean, server was great but the down fall was when I pulled a blue plastic strip out of my quesadilla. The plastic strip was 3inches long. Brittany our server was very apologetic but when the manager came over all she said was "I apologize it must have come from one of our plastic bags and I'll tell the kitchen to be more careful" Not looking for a hand out but to not offer a discount or ANYTHING at all for a foreign object imbedded in my food is unprofessional and a miss on a food recovery and a disappointment in customer service. The manager dropped the ball. The food was great outside of that.
