So glad we discovered this place while we were camping at Lake Mineral Wells State Park. Went into town for lunch on a Friday and after looking at a few options decided on this place. Fabulous space and the owners were a joy to visit with. They serve only Texas wines which is part of the charm. There is a wide selection to choose from. We had an Albariño and a Viognier. Both were very good and hit the spot on a warm Spring day. They have a neat arrangement with a local restaurant...
For all those who love wine or want to start exploring the world of wines, this is your place to start. With dim lights and a beautiful interior, Bankhead offers a lovely atmosphere of intimacy. Perfect for a date on the inside, but still diverse enough for an outside gathering with friends. Their variety of Texas wines brings a refreshing local taste to the town along with beautifully laid charcuterie boards alongside to compliment. Sharon was also wonderful in my guest experience....
This is a great establishment. The staff was extremely friendly. My son was their live music for the evening, and I went with him to assist in set up and pictures.Quite a few seats inside and plenty of space to move around.I did not have any food or drinks, so I'm unable to give a review on that. But the staff is very friendly.
