Burger was good, a bit greasy for my liken. The service was very nice and friendly. Very patient in waiting while we made our decision. Gave good information about the food. The ambience of boomers can use help. It's a little rundown and worn out. The bathroom for the ladies, on that day, was disgusting. I would probably eat here again, just to give them another chance. I'm told that their fish is the best in town. I gave them four stars, because there's nothing really bad to say about them, but there's also nothing exceptional about the burger. Was it good- yes.

We visited around 1:45 pm on a Thursday afternoon. Boomer's was not crowded at that time. We had been told that Boomer's had great burgers and we were not disappointed! They were like a good ol' homemade hamburger with all the trimmings! We also ordered an order of onion rings and they were delicious as well. Service was friendly and prices reasonable. We will definitely eat there again.

What a wonderful roadside restaurant. When you go to an "authentic" cheeseburger joint this is what they are modeling it off of. The food was absolutely heaven. The double double cheeseburger was enormous and only to be matched by Dirty's on Guadalupe (if you know you know). The proprietors we're so incredibly friendly and happy to see us. They just made us feel at home and as if we we're regulars stopping in for our daily meal. My wife's chicken fried steak could have fed a family of 5 for a week and the cole slaw (how any true hamburger connoisseur judges a hamburger joint) was legit smack your mama good. The TL;DR on this place is if you don't stop here for a meal you are doing yourself and the entire united States Roadside culinary community a dis service.

Tried this place based off the reviews and honestly will never eat here again. Where do I even begin?Ordered chicken fried chicken and was gave CFSteak.Order potatoes and salad as side. They forgot the potatoes, the salad was put in with the CFS, it was all soggy and covered in gravy.The fries weren't cooked.We also got the coleslaw and had no idea raisins were in it.Spent nearly $50 on one of the worst meals I've had at a restaurant. Over half of what we ordered was missing or terrible. Extremely disappointed

This place was fantastic! I had the fried catfish and my wife had the Chicken Fried Steak. For an appetizer we had the Boomer Fries. The food was amazing as was the service. I highly recommend this place. We are definitely going back.

WILL NOT BE GOING BACKwhile waiting on our order,spotted waitress rolling silverware, dropped one roll on the floor, picked it up and into the ready pile,Dropped a knife on floor and into the rolling pile it went.Not gunna bash the food,But left with a good bit uneaten on my plateAnd for the price of my tab compared to food quality....not EVEN accurate.Was trying this place out for a possible jeep club dinner meet up place.glad I did.Won't be doing one here nor like previously said.Will not be returning.

Service first off was extremely friendly, helpful, and overall great.Food was fantastic. I'm a big guy and rarely flinch at a double burger. I didn't flinch at this one but I certainly got filled up with ease.I'm very picky about onion rings. These were great.Prices were well beyond reasonable.I will most certainly be back!

This place has the bomb burgers and fries! I had the triple double which was huge for me double patties double bacon double cheese. Fantastic! The cook was one of the best ones I've seen for burgers. He was cute too. Anyways, the onion rings we good your can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service was too notch. Looking forwa to going back.

The restaurant and surrounding areas were clean and well lit. Waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. The food was prepared and served quickly. The food (fried catfish) was excellent with generous portions. Prices are reasonable for what one gets.

This is a place to go if you want a good burger. I had the Boomer burger and it was excellent with a stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeños. Lorena was our waitress and she gave us friendly excellent customer service. What is there we ate the coconut pie which sealed the meal. You left stuffed as very satisfied customers.
