This is not the franchise Dairy Queen. This third generation family owned business has developed its own recipes. The portions were generous and tasty.Jalitos are fried strips of jalapeños. Definitely worth a try!Kid-friendliness: Limited space. Not conducive to large parties.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

The best! ?Hickey’s DQ is a local favorite, but they don’t mind sharing their #1 food/ice cream spot with visitors. Owned by the Hickey family for multiple generations, this DQ is an iconic treasure of Mineral Wells! On my last visit, it was Sam Hickey’s 60th birthday, ?and there he was making fresh onion rings. Thank you, Sam, Charlee, and the rest of the Hickey family and staff for awesome treats, delicious eats! ?

I called in an order for 2 "combo" meals. Lady told me they don't have "combos"...!? I would have to order separate items to make up a "combo"....total bill came to nearly $48!!! You people are crazy. We ve eaten there years ago & DQ did infact have combos. Either an poorly trained employee or they did away with combos. Of course I canceled order. Went to Braum s. No more DQ. At least this location.

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this is the best DQ in the state of Texas. It's certainly the best one from Mineral Wells to the west! From Blizzards to Burgers, they just do it the best! By the way, simplify your life and order a cheeseburger with mustard and jalapeños only. Simply delicious. Family owned/operated with family pride and atmosphere. Nice job.

This is my first time visiting this business and the staff are awesome. I ordered the steak finger basket with onion rings. The first bite brought me back years the onion rings are great and just like they were made when I was a kid. The Steak fingers were delicious. I walked out feeling like I was a kid again. The dining area was small but very clean. Thank you for the memories.
