We had a great time on our 30th Anniversary dinner eating great grilled samon and the chicken caliente. We also enjoyed a dirty margarita and a cranberry juice with vodka. The service was excellent!

We had the best waitress and we Shared the Chicken Caliente. Everything was great but we really liked the fact that the butter was warm and would spread easily on our delicious rolls. We had the baked potato and salad with it. Everything was perfect.

2nd worst chicken fried steak I have ever had. WAY over cooked, soup was luke warm at best. Had to continually to ask waitress for items she forgot to bring. Can not recommend this place to anyone.

My son and I each add chicken. Mine was the grilled chicken breast. His was the chicken fried chicken. Both were delicious but I personally feel like each piece of chicken was small. For the price I paid, I wish the pieces would have been bigger.

We were in Mineral Wells for a family reunion and a group of 12 ate dinner at the Mesquite Pit. Everyone in our group was very happy with their selection from a very varied menu. The prime rib was one of the best that my brother-in-law had ever had. The prime rib is only available on certain days so he lucked out and got one of the last two available. Another in our group requested a special order of grilled jalapeños, and the kitchen honored his request. The wait staff is superb. It has become a rare thing now a days to get such exceptional service. If you are ever in Mineral Wells and are looking for a sit down, full service restaurant with excellent food and very reasonable prices, head straight to the Mesquite Pit. You won’t be disappointed.

It took about 5 minutes for somebody to wait on us, but then Martina did, she took our order and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. It was prepared like we like it. Martina took good care of us & we enjoyed visiting with her. Everything went well..
