This is only based on my opinion of the brisket: dry as powder. Every time. I love this place, but there is no marble or fatty bark on the brisket even if you ask for it. Smoked turkey is amazing, pickle bar rocks, etc, but just for comparison, Railhead in FW, Angelo’s, or even Spring Creek provide truly juicy, fatty, brisket that is moist. If I could get that here, I’d be in heaven. Sadly, Mesquite Pit down the street is the same way. Could it be a Mineral Wells thing? As...
The place was awesome. Cristian, the server, went above and beyond with items and prices on the menu. We really liked his knowledge of all the different jars of goodies on the selves. The food was great. I had the hot link sandwich and chips, and my wife enjoyed the brisket dinner. Highly recommend.
Both me, my son and my mom went into natty flat after we drove by and wondered what a campfire taco was went in to get one! we got two and her and I should have gotten one plate it was much food. the brisket was tender, not full of fat, the potatoes where good too!
