Awesome place! Enjoyed trying all the different beers from ordering a flight and there was not one I didn't like. Although, I did have a few favorite picks. What really got me was the fact it's Gluten Free! Having celiac disease, I am always excited to find new places that offer something I can have and for it to be so delicious! Highly recommend!

Came to visit the gfs family from San Antonio. Huge craft beer lover and I can say the 5x5 craft beer was 10/10! Will 100% return every-time i come back.

I learned of 5x5 because of the combat veterans group.

Their Brunette Bombshell is amazing! Tastes great, gives you a good buzz, and leaves you wanting more!

5 x 5 Brewing Co., pretty cool to have a local brewery of this caliber in Mission, TX. The Valley is better for it. Ordered a 6-flight, bartender’s choice, with a request for the Pumpkin Fubarr. All amazing. For eats is your choice of taco truck, 3 present, 1 open at time I was present.

This was one of two breweries that I visited in the area after the 2023 Texas Master Naturalist annual meeting. There may have been other breweries in the McAllen area, but they didn't come up for me when I searched with Siri. This was easy to find, And there is lots of parking. Most of the seating is outdoor on a covered patio. I like that when it is cool enough. On this particular day, the weather was perfect.I only had one flight here, because it was my second brewery of the day. You can only drink so much before driving is out of the question. The entire place seemed to be being run by one young man. Let me stress the young man part. This young fella looked like a middle school kid. He was very polite, welcoming, and friendly.I took my flight out to the patio and enjoyed it there. I liked all of the beers, but just like the other place I visited, I am taking away a point for not having the beers updated on Untappd. In the world of craft beer drinking, that should be a punishable crime. How about beers are free if they're not on the Untappd list?

Love the beer and the atmosphere!

This place absolutely rocks! Military-themed and craft beer! You should go here!

Drinks are awesome, prices are great but I’d rather not listen to country music for 5 hours or the same ol’ playlist back to back. 8/10

Props for putting on a jalapeno lager (extra spicy, but an uncommon treat). Juicy IPA wasn't trying very hard. They're the sole on-tap beer at RGV, where they had several that weren't at the brewery. Militaristic decor will probably turn on some and off others. Disjointed staff, but on-site owners were trying their best.

Amazing brews. We visit every year when coming to the RGV from northern Colorado, and appreciate the great beers, atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic food trucks. Can’t recommend enough!

Pineapple Mango was pretty good.

Great place to stop by, I highly recommend, they have a great and friendly staff to help you out. Also food is parked around if you wanna grab a bite.

We have been here several times. Each time, we feel as if the beer on tap is not chill enough. The decor is great, pays homage to our Vets. Limited seating inside, but great ample picnic style bench seating outside. They don’t have a food menu. But no need, there are plenty of food trucks around the area where you’ll find something great to go hand in hand with their craft beer.
