Another wonderful family owned restaurant hidden away. Our meals were the perfect size for us with prices to match. The servers were on top of it and understood English, too. One thing I found odd was that my husband's food was served way before mine was.

Channel 4 food patrol gave them an “F”. Owner/manager refused to give channel 4 tour of “fixed violations. Never been there and now never will.

Nasty roaches!! They failed previous 15 health inspections violations. Did you all see the Food 4 Thought on Channel 4, they have cockroaches, something extra on the menu they don’t tell you. “Que Asco!!”

Service is hit/miss. Food is always good and hot. Needs to be brighter in there. The walls are dark. Nice place though

Now with no prices on the menu and free coffee...and they are subject to change without notice. You can access the prices via scanning a UPC code. Picante not available today.

My meal was too salty and left a bad taste in my mouth. They have no prices on the menu and don't put it on the bill either. You only see the price when you go to pay. Servers too busy to care. I tried to catch the eye of one to ask for hot sauce, she never looked at nor checked on us once.

We are spending the winter working in south Texas. Winter Texans as they call those who choose to evade the cold of the north and head south. The area is a melting pot of french and spanish speaking people. It makes for quite an interesting time. This place is located right outside of our RV Resort. It only offers breakfast and lunch so it is not our typical dining out times. However, one Sunday lunch time we were able to make the stop. The atmosphere is not anything exceptional. It has a diverse grouping of tables with worn table coverings. Service was good but nothing to rave about. The food was average. Nothing we had was great. We ordered fajitas and a breakfast plate for our meals. We would return here but only because of our proximity to our winter home. Our ratings: Food 3 stars Value 3 stars Atmosphere 3 stars Romantic Appeal 2 stars Renown 2 stars Service 3 stars These average to 2.7 stars so we will round up to a 3 star rating.

Great place that's close by. Esmer and Mirna are the mainstays of this establishment and the main reason we visit multiple times a year.

We liked the food. We loved the tea the first time there but every time afterwards not so much. They changed brands and/or started putting way too much lime or lemon in the tea.
